Neighbor parking in front of house

If they'd rather not have it in front of theirs it means that (a) they think there is a downside and (b) they are perfectly happy visiting that downside on you. That's what would annoy me and it has nothing to do with legal rights.

Agree entirely. The neighbor is delusional and thinks common etiquette, and being a decent human being does not apply to him. We have all known one of these beauts at one time or another. To say their reputation precedes them is an understatement.

You are why civilization is crumbling.

Proud to be raised in a barn.

I saw this thread back when I started and didn't think it was a big deal. Now, however, my across the street neighbor has started parking his enormous black Suburban in front of my house right next to my driveway so that it is a difficult maneuver to get around his car and into my driveway (it's a narrow street). Meanwhile, his driveway and garage are empty. It is driving me a little nuts because it is so hard to get in and out of the driveway every day. I wish he would at least give me a little space to use my driveway!

Don't you just love the fact that when neighbors do this, they have all the space in the world.

Sounds like my life. I have complained about this exact issue before on here. Neighbors with not only a 2 car garage but a really long driveway that could easily accommodate 3 SUVs if needed.

I had a lot of supporters and of course a lot of people who basically called me evil scum of the earth. but that's customary on here. Wouldn't be DCUM without it!

Anyhow, I decided to do to them what they were doing to us. I parked my vehicle in front of THEIR house and partially blocked their driveway like they were doing to us. It took only one time of me doing this for them to never park in front of my house again. Yes its passive-aggressive but I didn't have the energy to civilly protest.
