If you're top 5 you'll get a call in late summer. GL

Maybe I missed this, but what's the deadline for families to accept their spot and enroll?

I know for a fact the WL is off...my kid got in for K and my PS is in the 100s on the list. Maybe once I submit the enrollment forms my DC will move out of the 100s

My 2 yr old ds must be a good luck charm, accepted into Sws
#12 mv and #7 for stokes.

Congrats! They only gave 7 nonsibling spots at SWS this year so you were indeed very lucky!

Bye

Don't be rude. This person is making the best choices for their kid. I hope you are doing the same.

Yeah, I guess it sounds rude, but seriously, I am kind of tired of people threatening to move away. I'm finished trying to exhort people to put in some sweat equity, try again next year, etc. Yes, I am a lottery winner this year, but this is my third year of trying, and I never once said I was going to move to the suburbs.

I have no problems with people who get fed up and decide to quit, but nothing said here is going to change their minds. So, bye. One less person in the lottery crush. Good luck in your next school.

And what would you have said if you weren't a lottery winner this year or next? Pretty sure you'd be tired of waiting for superman.

Green sibling, yellow lottery pull.

At the lottery they explained that the higher up you are on the list of accepted students, the more likely you'll get the language of your choice (top people get their pick of languages, until they run out of spots in one language and then everyone else gets the other language). I assume all the siblings choose before everyone else.

Okay, so they run one waitlist. Good to know!

It is maddening that they did not email our family the code to
check the list. No luck getting any info when I called either.

Did you get the email reminder about the lottery from the other day? Check your Spam?
Anonymous
Nope - checked every folder.

We got the email reminder, but no number to check the list! Guess we'll just have to wait until Monday. Hoping for a spot in K! Didn't get in to any of our common lottery picks. We thought the third year would be out year too!
