Sounds like Elon Musk using his money for bad and evil as usual.

| Half of the problems this world is facing are thanks to United Kingdom, their colonialism, poor, resource theft and map redrawing. |
| *oppression |
No one is saying all immigrants commit crimes, but some do. Instead of being grateful for what the UK has given them, they commit crimes. Why should the native population put up with this? |
The truth is that if these "asylum seekers" and immigrants of any and all categories who committed crimes were immediately jailed and then deported with a permanent ban on EVER returning the native population wouldn't be so incensed. |
Again, 100% true. Same goes for here in the US. We unfortunately can’t deport our own criminals, but we sure as hell can deport noncitizens who commit crimes. I don’t think they should even be in our jails - just deport them immediately and let their own countries deal with them. |
+1 and the other half is bad parenting. So much of what we are seeing with immigration is the long shadow of colonialism coupled with overpopulation in parts of the world with insufficient resources |
Probably, but the problem with whataboutism is you don’t know what the alternative would have been. Without British imperialism, there would be no USA. Would it have just been someone else’s colony? The French or Spanish? In hindsight, what would the Middle East look like if Israel hadn’t been formed or at least the US hadn’t provided blind support? We could blame scientists and aid agencies for discovering and distributing vaccines which have led to booming populations. |
This is key. Countries should not limit all migration; they should be smart about who they let in and what culture is behind that immigrant. Clearly it’s not going to be all Western Europeans but the differences between cultures in how they treat employment opportunity (in jobs that are not highly desirable) are pretty pronounced. |
Or if the French didn’t build a railroad in Syria |
Importing trauma is a bad idea! |
Many victims expect criminals to be punished for their crimes. If you immediately deport them, they will generally be free in the country they are deported to, obviously, unless the other country agrees to enforce their sentence. Why would they do that? That could mean they are then free to attempt reentry. |
None of this is reason to gouge an eye and try to behead someone |
Versus the right who just gun down tons of people or mow people over with cars. SDASDFU with your BS. |
Take your own advice. And own the complete nutters on the left rather than pretending they don't exist. |
