Seems like another incident of far-right anti-immigration tactics stoked by Musk/X and bots.

POV: A Sudanese man is appropriately charged and detained after stabbing another man. No other details are given. Out come the anti-immigrants because how dare an immigrant harm one of us...only WE WHITE MEN are allowed to do the harming.

So, let me get this straight.....

A Sudanese man attempted to behead a citizen in a very public place.  For no reason - a random attack. 
And, this come on the heels of the conviction of a Sikh man who stabbed a man in the UK and attempted to blame "racism" on the attack.  The poor man bled out because the police believed the killer.  
And, then last week it was reported that a 17-year-old girl was raped by four Afghan migrants, including 16-year-old boy, for hours in Bristol.
The citizens of Belfast are rightly outraged.  And, this is now white supremacy?   Are you kidding me?  [/quote]

Unless you put this beside all of the crimes in the same time frame, including those by white citizens, you are cherry picking to create an anti-immigrant narrative.  Are you saying white Irish citizens don't ever rape?  Don't ever kill?  These crimes you cite are heinous, but to use this to paint ALL immigrants as rapists and killers is racist/xenophobic.

No one is saying all immigrants commit crimes, but some do. Instead of being grateful for what the UK has given them, they commit crimes.  Why should the native population put up with this?[/quote]

The truth is that if these "asylum seekers" and immigrants of any and all categories who committed crimes were immediately jailed and then deported with a permanent ban on EVER returning the native population wouldn't be so incensed.

Again, 100% true.  Same goes for here in the US.  We unfortunately can’t deport our own criminals, but we sure as hell can deport noncitizens who commit crimes.  I don’t think they should even be in our jails - just deport them immediately and let their own countries deal with them.[/quote]

Many victims expect criminals to be punished for their crimes. If you immediately deport them, they will generally be free in the country they are deported to, obviously, unless the other country agrees to enforce their sentence. Why would they do that? That could mean they are then free to attempt reentry. [/quote]
