Not saying they should or should not. Just saying that Virginia provides free schooling to many - including illegal aliens - but the Democrats decided the free schooling for children and spouses of disabled veterans to be the problematic benefit.

This is a classic case of voting for a leader based on an issue designed to be highly emotional to capture people who are less conscientious and more like to vote on what they are afraid of rather than what they want to build.

This is how Cambridge Analytica propelled Ted Cruz and then Trump to power. They divide the voting population into 2200 different groups based on their personality traits. Then, they create messaging based on fear and emotion to get the groups to vote a certain way. You are a Liberty Focused Individualist. High in Openness, Low in Agreeableness - and do not even realize you are being manipulated.

This is correct. It also applies to Democrats. The current “Nazi” and “disappearing people” language being used by the party is the Democrat version of the playbook above. Last year, it was “threat to democracy.” This is why Biden was so confused when people wanted him to step down so a better candidate could run to save democracy - he thought everyone knew all that talk was simply campaign / GOTV verbiage.

You could have been a good parent and used this (totally real) situation to explain that your daughter is in absolutely no danger, but you are an awful person so you didn't.

I watched the debate last night, because I didn't know much about Spanberger. It was quite a shock to see her on the stage, ignoring almost all the questions asked of her and talking in circles. She couldn't be more unclear on her positions. It almost seemed like a game to her. I wasn't expecting much honestly but this was way worse then I was expecting. The constant word salad and refusing to say violence and murder is wrong is just frankly unbelievable to me. I can't and won't vote for her. IF you can't tell me murder is wrong and violence is wrong you don't get my vote. She really pissed me off. This world is a sad state of affairs when we all can't agree murder is wrong in any situation. I can't imagine this woman being the first female governor of Virginia. What a total freaking shame.
