NP. What troubled me about Spanberger’s debate performance was how evasive she was. She evaded every question.

Why do I get the feeling she is lying to us?

She didn't give simple yes/no bumper sticker slogans, but that's not evasive. She answered every question with balanced and thoughtful answers, which is actually how good governing works. You sound like you're conditioned for the world to be in black and white, which isn't reality and leads to bad policy.

I was impressed that Spanberger kept her cool and never got flustered by Sears' crazy stream of interruptions.
