Garcia is going to be tried in Tennessee. Found guilty, goes to jail for decades then deported to El Salvador. Or is sentenced and finishes out his term in El Salvador (we have done this with Mexico deportees).

Found not guilty? Still goes back to El Salvador, as his claim of fear of persecution is blown out of the water by an eyewitness saying he helped kill a mom there.

I would guess they presented the video evidence of the Tennessee stop with all the obvious human smuggling in his unregistered vehicle. Biden administration ICE chose not to come get him.
