Horse manure! Trump won 49.8 percent of the votes cast. Harris received 48.3 percent of votes cast. She lost by 1.5 percent of votes! That said I agree with OP. I think Trump is awful and I blame the Democratic Party for leaning so far left that they lost the middle and even middle right who would have voted for Harris.

Me too. I also blame the folks who thought it would be wise to nominate the one guy in 2020 who could fumble The White House back to Trump four years later. The Dem Party platform and/or leaning too far left was not the cause of their 2024 defeat. They lost because of a very weak and unpopular leader at the top whose poor communication skills allowed the opposition party to dictate what the Dem Party platform and agenda were to the American people.

To those of you obsessed with “trans”, you are the weird ones. And you’re being used to keep rich people in power who don’t care about you.

I live in what you would consider a “crazy” liberal area and I’ve raised children recently. I can count on one hand the number of trans people I know of, interacted with, or have seen in the past 10 years. Do you need a hobby? Why are you thinking about other people’s sexuality so much? It’s creepy and way more unhealthy and abnormal than what you insist is body “dysmorphia”. YOU are the freaks. Pay attention to the people telling you that they are a fraction of 1% of the population and not “taking over society” like Fox wants you to believe. Don’t let yourself be manipulated to hate people who simply want to life their life so that politicians and tech bros can get even richer.

Stop fighting the culture wars and you’ll notice this should be a class war.

This. Abortion used to be the issue republicans wanted to keep on the table. They had opportunities over the 50-year run to overturn Roe v Wade, but they didn’t want to lose their single-issue voters. But as public opinion on abortion started to shift, they knew they just needed to get it done and move on to their next boogie man issue.

And, to the original pp, do you realize what a small and rare problem trans athletes are in schools? Why shouldn’t it be handled locally? Why shouldn’t school districts be able to make the decision? There are so many variables, so shouldn’t it be on a case-by-case basis? Why do you guys want every aspect of our lives to be controlled by the federal government?

You need to get that hardly anyone agrees with the agenda that men should be able to self-identify as women. The fact that only thousands, not yet millions, of mentally ill men and boys have taken advantage of your dangerous policies changes nothing. Your policies are vile and you don't belong in power until you stop pushing them.

The thing is, in the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness, no one cares what you think. It isn't harming you. You live your life and let them live theirs.
