Are you terrified that YOU could be wrongly deported and then the US would refuse to bring you back?

She's now had to hire an immigration attorney to help her sort this out.

I know DCUM is the land of $350k/yr HHI poors, but as an actual poor ($55k/yr), I don't have extra money laying around to hire a lawyer if something like this were to happen to me.

Eventually the DHS thugs are going to be dispatched to ensure that everyone who received one of these letters is actually out of the US. Do you think they'll really believe you when you tell them it was a mistake and you're a US citizen? I'm sure they've never heard that one before.

As a rich person, let me coach you on the opportunity here. This could change your life. Do you understand how much money you could make in litigation and appearance/speaking fees if ICE showed up to deport you? You'd have so much cash you wouldn't know what to do with it.

You still don't get it.

If you are summarily deported to a concentration camp in another country, you aren't necessarily going to have a chance to talk to an attorney before they lock you in a cell with 80 other guys. You may never be heard from again while you are alive.

Why are random citizens getting these emails to begin with? It seems like some sort of typo or someone stole her email and used it for something.

This is one of the DOGE projects. The best people.

US citizen arrested and in detention under ICE detainer.

https://floridaphoenix.com/2025/04/17/u-s-born-man-held-for-ice-under-floridas-new-anti-immigration-law/

Even worse, the initial arrest was under a state law that the state has been enjoined from enforcing. Don’t tell me this cannot happen to citizens.

Why do you guys always pick the wrong person to make a point? From that article alone your guy:

Was picked up for DUI and released
Was stopped again 2 days later and told the officer he was in the USA illegally….

Sounds like a real winner.

Yes. I am an international adoptee and technically an immigrant/naturalized citizen.

What keeps you here? If you no longer happy with America, why not to go to your home country which I presume is not a banana republic?

You have poor comprehension. They said they were scared, not that they were unhappy living here. By the way, last time I checked there were plenty of MAGA who were super unhappy with the way things were before 2017 and from 2021-2025. You should have left.

MAGA never threatened to leave, that is a democratic thing.

However, if a judge is ordering diplomacy, the President is right to reject it, even if it is a US citizen wrongly deported.

Wrong on both counts. The US government has a right to get its citizens back home. This dude is not a US citizen, but a Salvadoran citizen who is now back in his home country.

No, I’m not afraid for myself or family. And I fully recognize the place of privilege that comes from.

Yes in true narcissistic fashion. A couple of rich black ones too.

Ever consider the possibility the officer was lying? I mean, why would a US citizen say that?

Not worried at all. I am in the country legally, I have never committed a crime, I have no ties to Tren or M13, and I paid over 400,000 in taxes for 2024. Why in the world would ICE or anyone in the government want me out of the country?

I hope you’re sitting down for this. Not everyone on this thread is rich. Not everyone on this thread is white.
Start there. You don’t even need cliff notes.
