Are you terrified that YOU could be wrongly deported and then the US would refuse to bring you back?

I flew internationally several times this year, no issues at Dulles airport at all. And I am not even a citizen of US.

You've flown since the coronation of King Trump?

I cannot wait for the first abduction and transfer to CECOT of a U.S. citizen (with jus soli citizenship stretching back for 5+ generations) who has ever uttered the words “if you have nothing to hide, you shouldn’t worry about objecting to the (unlawful) search (and seizure)”.

Wait until those bozos find their ignorance and disregard for the Constitution turned on them.

It’s funny how the people who have always been afraid of an authoritarian government (2nd amendment, “don’t thread on me,” and/or militia adjacent) taking over are now complicit in the rise of the same. So it was never about being anti-big government.

I’m not worried for myself just yet, but a good friend of mine from the UK who’s had a green card for three decades and lives permanently in the US is in the process of getting a US passport “just in case.”

do you have SM, and if so, does it praise or criticize the one looking to root out all his critics?

What most terrifies me as a Latina, naturalized immigrant living in a heavily red state is that I'm going about my daily life amidst people who think the way this government is treating people like me is not only ok, but great. People who think I don't deserve to be here and have the same rights as them. That's terrifying.

Wow no one believes that. American citizens are kidnapped off the street and sent to Gulags with no trial or due process. I remember when the right care about sh#t like this and the constitution.

What US citizen has been “kidnapped off the street and sent to Gulags”?

I and my family are white and wealthy, so I'm about a 0 on the worried scale.

I do have a SIL who married an Indian guy, so their kids are mixed. I'm more worried for them because even though they are also wealthy, they are brown.

Now that T wants to send US citizens to gulags in other countries..
Concerning as Elon would say.

They were never afraid of an authoritarian government, it was always about their fantasy of murdering the people they have "othered." The "defending against tyranny" bit was just a wafer-thin cover to make their liberal murder fetish socially acceptable.

Why do you think so many of them have a massive hard-on for the Duttons in "Yellowstone" despite them being incredibly corrupt politicians and dirty cops who not only use murder and violence to achieve their political and personal goals, but also literally enslave people? Because they get to mow down liberal Californian "outsiders" with impunity, which is all they have ever wanted.

Not worried in the slightest.

First they sent the illegal immigrants to a literal concentration camp with no due process and I said nothing, for I was not an illegal immigrant.

Then they sent the legitimate asylum seekers to a literal concentration camp with no due process and I said nothing, for I was not a legitimate asylum seeker.

Then the President went on TV and said he wanted to send US citizens to a literal concentration camp and I said "don't worry, I'm pretty sure I know how the rest of this goes - he stops there and everything is OK, right?"

I’m a naturalized, law abiding citizen who’s a bit worried that if I go to my cousins wedding in the Middle East this summer, I won’t be allowed back.
