Missing college student in the Dominican Republic from Ashburn

If power was out how were beach cameras working? The man was not seen leaving the beach until 4 hours after the group. That is a very long “swim” in the dark. Is he a local? A tourist? Does he have any kind of criminal record? He should be charged with something.

DP but the news program I was watching indicated the last person she was with was not in the group of her girlfriends that went together.

The last person she was with was a male, who has been identified. He apparently did not raise an alarm that she may have drowned. I have not seen it clarified if he was a local or tourist.

CNN said he was also a tourist. Sounded like he passed out and maybe assumed she went back to the room? So no one realized til later she was missing.

If he is telling the truth seems that her body will wash up?

It was daylight breaking when this went down. Did others see him passed out? He was in camera around 10 am I read? WTH is going on they no one can give details. Release his statement. Maybe they have a reason but seems stupid. Don’t have to release his name.

I would be FURIOUS at my daughter for this sort of behavior, and this is exactly why parents should discourage these types of trips from college students with notoriously bad judgement. Yes I know you can't technically "stop" 18 year olds, but if you are still financially supporting them, you have plenty of influence.

I’m not sure how the beach cameras were working. From 4 days ago, lots of TikToks and posts about the power being down at the resort.
