What do you think death feels like ?

My aunt was married to my uncle for her entire life. She was a sweet and kind woman. He was a total ass. Sarcastic. Rude. The attitude that he was better than everyone else and was pained by contact with other people. My aunt had a miscarriage and he left her in pain to go play golf. Nobody could figure out why she stayed married to him.

He had a massive heart attack while playing golf. He died and the incredible medical team brought him back. It was truly amazing.

He was a completely changed man. He first thanked his doctors and nurses for a second chance at life, and then he shocked everyone by actually changing. His entire demeanor was different. He became a pleasant and caring man.

He said when he died, he saw God. God said to him that He was sending him back to earth to have a chance to be a good husband, father, and person. Note that my uncle was not religious whatsoever before his heart attack.

I have to believe he saw what he saw and heard what he heard, because for 50 plus years the guy was terrible.

How will you “find out” anything? You won’t have a brain to process thoughts. It’s over.

Time will tell - you can’t prove or disprove this belief

Do you even hear yourself?

You can't disprove that after death we all go to a casino 22 miles outside of Phoenix, either.

But I guess time will tell.

I can tell you I don’t go to casinos in life and casinos in death sounds like hell to me.

Be very good then. Because if you're bad, you'll end up at a casino 22 miles outside of Phoenix FOREVER. haha

Thankfully we can’t earn our way into Heaven but that prospect will certainly motivate me to do better 😂

Harsh lighting, metallic clinks of gambling machines, garish carpets, sexist attire, losing massive amounts of money with nothing to show for it every day - nothing natural at all - truly sounds like Hell

And stale cigarette smell!

I'm agnostic but I've had a lot of odd experiences. Predictive dreams, seeing things that happened miles away while I was awake... my parent had JUST died and I found out in an airport. I was sitting there debating vomiting or not/ belly wasn't quite sure what was gonna happen- and suddenly I felt someone rubbing my back. There was no one anywhere near me. But I felt it. It was more distracting than anything else. "wth am I feeling?" But the urge to visit passed and I was ok. Crying but ok.

I'm glad your uncle changed for the better after his heart attack. Just because he thinks he saw God doesn't mean that he actually did or that God exists. It could mean that he knew what a nasty guy he was and had a dream that caused him to change.

Sorry to hear about your parent. Also, I don't understand your story. Also, what do you mean by " But the urge to visit passed and I was ok.

Yes that and the pungent smell of cannabis would be the aroma of hell for me (maybe add scents of sulphuric acid found in rotten eggs and sewer gases) for maximum displeasure).

Heaven would smell like a combination of jasmine, rose water, peppermint, cilantro, and cinnamon to me. I am sure that is highly subjective.

Thanks - that makes more sense, but the point of your post is still illusive. Can you explain it a little more?

Such a blessing that God tortured your aunt for decades just to give your uncle an redemption arc.

This. People have such shallow religious views. Like at least think about what the implications are.
