It’s one of many IP addresses from which he accessed his Discord accounts over the years. I think the undercover officer’s affidavit lists the Beauvoir IP address as the one from which he created one of the accounts.

Could someone else have access to his computers? I know a lot of people who have office and home computers that many people use.

I don't know if this is some misplaced anger toward former parents. If your child's teacher was arrested/is serving time for child pornography/child sexual abuse, you might have a little sympathy for why we are alarmed that we haven't received any communication from the school.

Meaning you are not just money to us but people we respect. For that amount of money, you expect respect and goodcommunication.

So FA families wouldn’t get the same respect? Wouldn’t get an email? Respect has to be paid for? For families no longer at these schools and no longer paying, why would they get an email?

Article doesn't say that. It says the FBI was able to trace the ISP number to computers at the schools. I am not surprised. He may have used the school computers to avoid the chance that his wife or kids would find anything on the computers used at home.

Likely he kept a school laptop when he left. Just for the purpose. Not great cybersecurity there, I guess.

If a Beauvoir IP address was identified, couldn't that just mean he was using his own laptop on Beauvoir's wireless network to access his discord account? In other words, he didn't have to be using a Beauvoir computer. Same situation at NCRC.

I think that is right. I think the school IP address would also be there if he was using a mobile device, but the affidavit specifically mentions mobile device logins so there must be a difference. He mentions being at / finishing up work in one exchange.

I am confused by what you mean by this. We know what HE was doing there and a known issue on Discord. This is why they monitor it.

Discord is a chat room that is used by a lot of people. Pedophile use it too with lots of protection. To have access to pornography you need to know a lot about the dark net and how to protect your IP… but you always get caught anyway!

BVR did send a letter to our families and gave the accurate years of employment - BVR parent.

Well I didn't get it. And my child was at Beauvoir at the time he was a classroom teacher.

You asked if he was “allegedly actively doing this” during the Beauvoir years and I was just saying that the only mention of that IP address is for Discord account creation/logins. So right now the actual allegations about the substance of the abuse solicitation are limited to his very recent activity. I’m sure that after an investigation there will be much older conduct that emerges and more charges brought.

Question: not that it makes any difference really but could it be possible that while all of this stuff is disgusting, vile and repulsive - is there any relief in thinking that maybe he was obsessed with these ideas images acts whatever you want to call them as pornography and fetishes etc etc but he never actually touched a child?!?! I’m praying this is the case as my children were his students. I’m just looking for some reassurance so my mind doesn’t keep going to awful places.

Yes, but he was looking at images of other people abusing children. It's hardly better. He was encouraging others to do so (directly and indirectly.)
