Article doesn't say that. It says the FBI was able to trace the ISP number to computers at the schools. I am not surprised. He may have used the school computers to avoid the chance that his wife or kids would find anything on the computers used at home.

I think the expectation that BVR would send a letter to former families spanning more than a decade within hours of this becoming known is ridiculous. What do you want them to say? We had a child there when he was the outplacement director so I am speaking for myself. I don’t expect correspondence from them today.

It’s one of many IP addresses from which he accessed his Discord accounts over the years. I think the undercover officer’s affidavit lists the Beauvoir IP address as the one from which he created one of the accounts.

Likely he kept a school laptop when he left. Just for the purpose. Not great cybersecurity there, I guess.

I think Discord is a gaming platform or social media site so it’s unclear what he was doing at that time. I hope that an investigation reveals the full extent of all of this - he is only facing 10 years for the current charge.

If a Beauvoir IP address was identified, couldn't that just mean he was using his own laptop on Beauvoir's wireless network to access his discord account? In other words, he didn't have to be using a Beauvoir computer. Same situation at NCRC.
