From Trumps *actual* platform:
4. Republicans Will Protect and Defend a Vote of the People, from within the States, on the Issue of Life We proudly stand for families and Life. We believe that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States guarantees that no person can be denied Life or Liberty without Due Process, and that the States are, therefore, free to pass Laws protecting those Rights. After 51 years, because of us, that power has been given to the States and to a vote of the People. We will oppose Late Term Abortion, while supporting mothers and policies that advance Prenatal Care, access to Birth Control, and IVF (fertility treatments) https://rncplatform.donaldjtrump.com/?_gl=1*xuvmav*_gcl_au*ODM2NzAwODA0LjE3MjIzODY3OTc.&_ga=2.162046009.46806750.1722386797-1307830477.1722386797 So much for opposing birth control and IVF! |
Don't feed the troll. This is not a good faith discussion, it is an attempt at gaslighting. |
Because he had somebody put his lies in print vs. just speaking them? If he wasn't a serial liar, his "*actual* platform" might mean something. |
I'll add:
clean air clean water financial and banking protections consumer protections safe products worker protections social safety nets presidential accountability for abuses scientific integrity the ability to deal with and mitigate future climate challenges Those are all things which Trump will roll backwards and strip away |
He did it already. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schedule_F_appointment#:~:text=The%20legal%20basis%20for%20the,or%20policy%2Dadvocating%20character%22. |
And Kamala won't be able to anything with it either because it is not a federal issue. And yet that is pretty much her whole campaign. |
The rights of undocumented migrants to take advantage of citizens. |
Trump being pro life is one of the more humorous things the liberals ever said. He literally said he believes in abortion and he’s not Christian (after almost losing his life) at a Christian convention last week where he was actually booed ![]() That’s the same venue where he said the ill advised “just vote once, four more years then you don’t have to vote anymore”. He was saying that to bargain with them for one last chance and to win the crowd ![]() |
Maybe you’ve never been to the doctor before but most healthcare is state run and abortion is a healthcare issue therefore a federal abortion ban isn’t even possibly as healthcare is state run and all the blue states obviously wouldn’t allow it. The so called blue wave that happened in 2022 in red states means women already voted on the abortion issue and chose their preferred state representatives and therefore this election won’t be a referendum on abortion like Kamala and her supporters delusionally believe. Kamala can’t do anything if the Supreme Court remains red. She will need to nominate and make sure 2 judges are confirmed. Liberals need to lay the blame at RBG for not resigning and Obama for not pushing Merrick by using the bully pulpit and social media to bash Republicans (even Trump does this well). Obama didn’t Adt like he was the boss in Washington but like Republicans were his manager. All Trump did was his due diligence as a President and to his voters by selecting two conservative pro-life judges. He did what he said and what he promised as a thank you to his voters even though he obviously doesn’t personally agree. |
This is what I’m saying. Biden didn’t do anything to change it. Trump is not running on some revolutionary platform. He’s keeping the current policy in place. |
Yes, it is. And Trump has in the past said he’d sign one. Thanks for playing. |
And what is he saying currently? (Hint: he’s not proposing a federal abortion ban). Thanks for playing. |
So again— was he lying in 2018? March 2024? July 2024? Which version of Donald Trump should we believe, and why did the other two lie? |
Sure, you tell us. What is Trump the Serial Liar saying today? What was he saying yesterday? What will he say tomorrow? Because those will all be different answers depending on who is talking to at the time. |
Abortion will be a huge driver for women and the youth to the polls. It's delusional and cope to think otherwise. That's why Trump is currently hiding from the issue. |
