What rights is Donald taking away

Anonymous
From Trumps *actual* platform:

4. Republicans Will Protect and Defend a Vote of the People, from within the States, on the Issue of Life

We proudly stand for families and Life. We believe that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States guarantees that no person can be denied Life or Liberty without Due Process, and that the States are, therefore, free to pass Laws protecting those Rights. After 51 years, because of us, that power has been given to the States and to a vote of the People. We will oppose Late Term Abortion, while supporting mothers and policies that advance Prenatal Care, access to Birth Control, and IVF (fertility treatments)

https://rncplatform.donaldjtrump.com/?_gl=1*xuvmav*_gcl_au*ODM2NzAwODA0LjE3MjIzODY3OTc.&_ga=2.162046009.46806750.1722386797-1307830477.1722386797

So much for opposing birth control and IVF!

Don't feed the troll. This is not a good faith discussion, it is an attempt at gaslighting.

Because he had somebody put his lies in print vs. just speaking them? If he wasn't a serial liar, his "*actual* platform" might mean something.

I'll add:
clean air
clean water
financial and banking protections
consumer protections
safe products
worker protections
social safety nets
presidential accountability for abuses
scientific integrity
the ability to deal with and mitigate future climate challenges

Those are all things which Trump will roll backwards and strip away

Trump has announced his intention to reissue Schedule F “on day one” of his next administration. During his first term, government employees were frequent targets of public insults, threats, and retaliation. Echoing Trump, other elected officials have advocated “fir[ing] every single mid-level bureaucrat” and made campaign promises to begin “slitting [bureaucrats’] throats on day one.”

Scholars at the American Enterprise Institute have stated, “[Trump] has made it clear in countless ways that, if he were to win the presidency again, he would expect total loyalty — from cabinet secretaries down to the most junior agency employees.”

He did it already.

It is a 100% real question. So far no one has able to list what freedoms he is stripping away, and then subsequently backing it up. Can you do that? Or are you calling troll because you can’t?

I love how, when called out on their lies, they splutter and lie some more. Not a huge fan of Trump, but there are no rights he's taking away from anyone. How ludicrous, but I guess this is all the left has to try and convince their low-information voters.

Many women no longer have the right to healthcare.

That's all on Trump.

You can yakety yak all you like, but we here all know the truth.

Many women no longer have the right to healthcare????

So many women can no longer see doctors, get prescriptions filled, have medical tests and treatments, be admitted to hospitals??? How did I miss that?

You mock, but just this one issue (women's right to healthcare being stripped across the country) is why Trump's going to lose the election. That's why he's cowardly running away from his extremist positions (e.g., Project 2025) now.

Can you cite where on trumps platform he calls for the stripping away of a woman’s right to healthcare?

Trump knows that abortion is a losing topic so he had the Republican platform watered down just so people like you could make this argument. No one in their right minds thinks he gives a damn about abortion one way or another, besides probably having paid for at least one if not many in the past. But we all know that if a Republican congress sends him a national abortion ban he's not going to veto it. Duh.

If by “all” you mean the hysterical doomsday Dems, then yes, you’re probably right.

If he's opposed to a national ban, why isn't he out there ranting about the national ban and telling Republicans to knock it off? If he supports abortion rights why is he okay with some Americans being denied the ability to get abortions based on where they live?

Listen to interviews where Trump has discussed the abortion issue. He said it is back to the states and the people to decide. Vote on candidates who support abortion in your state if it is a big issue for you. It has nothing to do with the federal level. Biden is President now and he isn't doing anything regarding this issue because it is up to the states.

And Kamala won't be able to anything with it either because it is not a federal issue. And yet that is pretty much her whole campaign.

Can anyone tell me what rights Trump will strip people of if he gets elected?

The rights of undocumented migrants to take advantage of citizens.

Trump being pro life is one of the more humorous things the liberals ever said. He literally said he believes in abortion and he’s not Christian (after almost losing his life) at a Christian convention last week where he was actually booed

That’s the same venue where he said the ill advised “just vote once, four more years then you don’t have to vote anymore”. He was saying that to bargain with them for one last chance and to win the crowd

Right?!? I somehow missed that too. Was it on CNN? The NYT? WSJ? Apple News? Anyone cover this breaking story?

Plenty of stories about pregnant women bleeding out, going septic and almost dying because of Trump, sicko.

Trump did that.

Holy hell the Supreme Court did that.

+100 Abortion is a state issue not a federal one. What exactly do you think Trump is going to do if reelected? It is up to the states now which is where it should have been in the first place.

Slavery is a state issue, too, AMIRITE?

Maybe you’ve never been to the doctor before but most healthcare is state run and abortion is a healthcare issue therefore a federal abortion ban isn’t even possibly as healthcare is state run and all the blue states obviously wouldn’t allow it. The so called blue wave that happened in 2022 in red states means women already voted on the abortion issue and chose their preferred state representatives and therefore this election won’t be a referendum on abortion like Kamala and her supporters delusionally believe.

Kamala can’t do anything if the Supreme Court remains red. She will need to nominate and make sure 2 judges are confirmed.

Liberals need to lay the blame at RBG for not resigning and Obama for not pushing Merrick by using the bully pulpit and social media to bash Republicans (even Trump does this well). Obama didn’t Adt like he was the boss in Washington but like Republicans were his manager.

All Trump did was his due diligence as a President and to his voters by selecting two conservative pro-life judges. He did what he said and what he promised as a thank you to his voters even though he obviously doesn’t personally agree.

This is what I’m saying. Biden didn’t do anything to change it. Trump is not running on some revolutionary platform. He’s keeping the current policy in place.

So again— was he lying in 2018? March 2024? July 2024?

Which version of Donald Trump should we believe, and why did the other two lie?

Abortion will be a huge driver for women and the youth to the polls. It's delusional and cope to think otherwise. That's why Trump is currently hiding from the issue.
