Why are Christians insisting the opening ceremony depicted The Last Supper when it really was the Feast of Dyonisus?

Anonymous
To be brief, yes, the LGBT push has gone too far and many people have had it. November’s on its way!

If you play Kiss records backwards you can hear satanic messages.

i can't follow this thread, are there right wingers who think Kamala planned the Olympics opening ceremony or something?

TL;DR: yes. Well, her and Hakeem Jefferies and the Deep State.

do they know it's the Paris olympics?

Yes. They think Harris, Jefferies and the Deep state have formed a cabal and are secretly controlling the opening ceremony to mock Christians.

You can’t make this sh*t up. Only in 2024.

Literally nobody’s saying this. People ARE saying the LGBTQ push is becoming too extreme. They want the kids.

They are literally not hiding it anymore that they want to appeal to kids . This colorful cartoonish display and color palette is built to appeal to a child sensibility. It’s like a drag queen/Gay Disney.

It would be better if they just admitted they wanted their movement to attract the eye and affection of kids.

Instead, they’re deflecting just like you are about a cabal nobody’s mentioned or notre dame. I haven’t seen anyone say the LGBTQ do not want to get to kids with gender ideology and rainbow colored /cartoonish looking drag queen and men and that’s unsettling.

Voters like myself (the silent majority) will definitely make their voices re: the culture wars this Nov

They don't want your kids. You don't even want your kids.

They do want kids. They can’t have any

I don't know about that, but I do know they don't want your kids and you don't either. Sad, but whatever.

Dems have focused on race, gender, sexuality anything but class!

They don’t want to actually help the poor or working class because they are the party of the elite. The populist and working man party is now going to be the Republican Party as well as the party of God, country, and family

Republicans want kids working in factories. Unless they're girls, then they want them in porn. Gawd bless this mess.

Republicans want to ban porn. The last Republican president banned Backpage and hopefully they ban Onlyfans next.

That’ll surely make your peers bummed for leisure time I’m sure

If they had a better liberal arts education they would know better.

The Last Supper reference wasn’t the only one and it isn’t just Christians offended. I’ve seen atheists even offended by it.

It was the inappropriate nature of it all when kids are watching.

Is this cool?

What about the Golden Calf that they actually prayed to in the beginning ?
Is that not about Christianity (all of the Abrahamic religions really)?

What about it?
It’s weird and French. So what?

Can anyone tell me where the blue guy was in the Last Supper? Is that Judas?

Hint: it's not actually The Last Supper!

Imagine having this as a defense

This +1000000000

Signed someone voting for Harris but if Trump wins I'll lay the blame totally on this.

Olympic authorities have said it was a depiction of the Feast of Dyonisus. How is this still a controversy? Do facts not matter at all to these people? At least one Christian pastor seemed to figure out what really happened.

Reverend Benjamin Cremer, based in the US, shared a post on social media which dispelled the allegation that the controversial scene featuring drag queens was mocking Leonardo da Vinci's classic painting and therefore Christianity.

The post reads: 'It was a representation of the event called the Feast of Dionysus. Greek God of festivity and feasting and ritual and theater.'

It seems as if Christians are very invested in feeling persecuted and disrespected these days. Seems like some people are actually just riling up the base.

Sounds like producers trying to be clever and spin. It was very clearly intended to mock Christianity.

it totally makes me question what's going on with the french, but mainly the people who plan the french opening ceremonies... but it doesn't really seem to affect MY life.

What's wrong with mocking a political party?

OK, this is some serious talking point bullshit. Just in the last three years, Dems have strengthened unions, lowered prescription costs and added more jobs.

The Republicans have done what, exactly, for the working poor?
