She is not the nominee, yet. She had no pledged delegates that she won during the primaries. These are only verbal commitments at this point, not binding like the ones you get for winning the state primaries. Dem here who likes to fact check because there's so much inaccurate info out there. Did you confirm it was accurate? Where did you see the proof? I tried going to the official Trump-Vance campaign website to see if the press release was featured there, but all it is is a fundraising platform--no policies or press releases on it. I sounds on brand, but let's make sure it's real. |

Yup. He trolls it's what he does. It works every single time because even if the headlines are criticizing him , it gets his name out there. His base also loves his trolling. Even non supporters do because it serves as a talking point, people retweet it, it sells, people write think pieces on it. |

I'm actually surprised Trump is being such a coward. The Vance pick has been like an anvil around his neck. He's sinking fast. All the attention is on Kamala Harris and the excitement she's generating. There's nothing but breathless speculation about who she's going to pick as VP. The economy looks solid. The poll numbers for Democrats are surging.
And still Trump won't put himself on a stage with Harris. That's very unlike him. I wonder if he's unwell. He's an old geriatric after all. 8 pm might be a little late for him. Most Americans don't want a president who will be in his 80s. You'd think he'd at least try to be energetic, maybe with the help of some meds. |
