This^. I don't agree with him but that's what his religion teaches, women are to be protected and provided for so they can birth and raise next generation of Catholics. His mom was a full time academic and a part time mom academic while his wife is a 24/7 mom so he saw both sides. |
Oh cool, so he said a wholesome thing amongst the diatribe of hateful bullsht, he is to be praised. |

What the haters here are ignoring.... or are ignorant about.... is that Butker also told men that they need to be present and active in the lives of their wives and children.
Yeah, and that’s great and it’s true. It doesn’t excuse the other parts alluding to “deviance” (gender or sexual orientation), how women should be subservient or generally how Covid masks are bad. He’s a zealot jock. Next!
Post his exact words. We’ll wait. DP
Yeah you will wait. |

Butker bemoaned an erosion of traditional Catholic values in daily life, claiming that things like “abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia as well as a growing support for degenerate cultural values and media” come from “the pervasiveness of disorder.”
He criticized Biden for proclaiming his Catholic faith while being “delusional enough to make the sign of the cross during a pro-abortion rally,” accusing the president of making it appear “that you can be both Catholic and pro-choice.” Butker told the women in the class that they’d been told “diabolical lies” about pursuing careers, and that his and his family’s success is a result of his wife’s focus on being a wife and mother, claiming that “her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother.” He accused world leaders of “pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America,” and praised the students at Benedictine for embracing their religion with pride, but “not the deadly sin sort of pride that has an entire month dedicated to it.” |

Yeah my 85 year old mother worked almost her entire adult life except for about 6 years when we were little. She didn't want to stay home and she wanted to contribute to the household income. When I stayed at home for a few years while my son was little, she implored me not to. She really didn't want to see her daughter languishing away as a homemaker. The majority of Catholic mom's I've known my entire life have worked at least part time. The only exception being the ONE mom who has 11 kids.
Butler is not talking about typical Catholicism these days. |
| The NFL was quicker to condemn Butker for being a Christian than it was to condemn Ray Rice for caving in his fiancee’s head on camera and and then dragging her lifeless body through the hall. |
Why do men need to be told to be fathers and present in their kids lives? Are they too dumb to realize that? |
+1. You need a gold medal for doing something as basic and obvious as being a dad to the kid you decided to father? Keep your sperm to yourself if you don't even know that if you bring a kid into the world, you have to raise it. |
| There are two types of people in this world that I hate. People who are intolerant of other peoples cultures, and the Catholics. |
| $50 says Butker is in the closet |
He’s probably an Andrew Tate podcast listener. |
| Mainstream Catholics: "uh, dude..." |
There is a rumor going around about his college years and his involvement with a male cheerleader. When someone is this unhinged, they’re usually compensating for something. No one in a happy relationship would go out there and say this stuff. |
No that’s not mainstream it’s just that shock and fear sells. |
No crickets here you just don’t like what was said. |
