+1. Some people make their kids visit school before they apply! Mind blowingly stupid. Have a 17 year old "fall in love" with a school based on some random observations, and then watch them crush in disappointment come decision time. Why do people do this to their own kid is beyond me. Get your acceptances first, then visit your top 2-3 choices among your acceptances. That's what we did. Worked out well.


Couldn't disagree more, we ruled a number of schools out after campus visits. Why bother applying to a school you would never attend?
