But the US & the world can’t endure another 4 years of the Oval Office being merely occupied by an entity that doesn’t DO anything.

No, no. He actually raped a woman. There was a jury trial and everything.

It's amazing these folks don't believe Trump is a convicted rapist after he was convicted.

Don’t forget about the Russian collusion. And I think he sank the USS Maine in the Havana harbor too.

Obviously the reason people don’t know about all these things he did is because not enough of the people in show business, the news media, & academia are talking about him.

If we could just get a few actors, singers, professors, & journalists to mention anything negative about him, he wouldn’t last.

Maybe even if we could get the host of one of those late-night tv talk shows to mention him. Or SNL.

That's a lot of words. But I still don't actually know whether, to you, it's ok or not ok that he raped a woman.

A majority of Republicans in many red states are also OK with taking away women’s and girls’ rights to abortion as a result of rape - even when perpetuated against children. They dress it up as high minded morality when it is actually cruel and depraved.

People seem to take away the wrong conclusions from the Russia investigations.
Mueller was not able to establish that actual collusion had occurred, and he clearly stated he did not clear Trump of obstruction. The Mueller team did run into problems getting evidence from the Trump team. Furthermore, Trump's AG Bill Barr stated that the investigate did not exonerate Trump. OJ was acquitted, but he was not exonerated. Capone was only convicted of tax fraud. We DO know Trump fired Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the investigation--clearly, he wanted to be able to control the outcome.

Whether there was direct collusion with Russia, we also saw in plain sight how Trump and his minions called out for Russia's help. Don Jr was eager to meet with a Kremlin-linked lawyer hoping to "get dirt" on Clinton. In a 2016 news conference Trump said "Russia, if you're listening. . ." and on the very same day Russian hackers took their first steps to hack the servers for Clinton's personal office. Roger Stone had contacts with Wikileaks.

None of this looks like the Trump team was trying to AVOID Russian efforts to affect the election in the US. None of this looks like the Trump team sought to ensure there was a clear record for the American public.

Don't recall the references or information exactly, but I belief there are indications that getting our military killed has actually happened. Or at least foreign assets. Or both.

Anonymous wrote:OP, Trump began his time as President by disclosing intelligence information. Intelligence and military officials have disclosed that he had little or no interest in understanding military deployments, international security, and they had to dumb down their briefing sessions with him.
He has no respect for the country's laws and institutions, least of all our Constitution. When he was told that the Vice President was being threatened with lynching, his response was "so what?" When he was told that armed individuals were showing up at his rally in DC on January 6, he wanted them let in. If the people who attacked the Capitol had been left-wing, he would have cheerfully called for authorities to just shoot them. Instead, he told these people he loved them.
He tried to leverage Ukraine's request for military assistance by demanding personal favors.
Before he was president, he was a swindler who did not pay his debts and defrauded people who bought into his promotion of Trump University, thinking they too could gain wealth.
Whatever his statements about the border, he himself employed undocumented immigrants at his golf resorts.
Although other politicians have cheated on their spouses, only Trump has boasted about his sexual aggression towards women, and only Trump has been found to pay off a prostitute in order to protect his political ambitions.

Probably for most people, who gets elected president does not have a huge impact on their daily lives. For others, the impact can be staggering--such is if you are a woman in Texas with a pregnancy complication and end up having to risk death from sepsis because Trump appointed justices who would overturn Roe v Wade, and they did just that, enabling the state of Texas to enact and enforce the very laws that would endanger that woman.

But it's not just about whether we get personal advantage or disadvantage based on who is president. If I were a member of a middle-class household in Germany in the 30s--and not Jewish, not Catholic, not a Socialist, and not disabled--life might work out pretty well for me. But in the end it would be on my conscience what happened to other people in order to make me more prosperous.

It's also about the system of government we have, the one to which, to become a citizen, I think you had to swear allegiance to. Do you remember that oath? It includes "I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America." Guess what, you have seen this former president do everything he possibly could to attack that Constitution and those laws--even before he skedaddled with boxes of classified documents he had no legal right to stash in his bathroom.
So, please just think about that.

Fact check: she's a porn star, not a prostitute. Everything else you said is true.

Their interaction was a business transaction.

He paid to keep her from telling her story. He did not pay her for sex.

There was compensation involved in exchange for the act. It was a business transaction

He compensated her afterward, but she wasn't expecting to be paid. It was a gift, not a business transaction.

He asked Russia to spy on political opponent.
He grabbed pussies.
He publicly made fun of a journalist with a disability (like a psychopath).
He tried to overthrow an election and had a clarion call blue collar workers do his dirty work.
He's a failed businessman, over and over.
He engages in nepotism with abandon.
He told the public that anyone who supported his GOP opponent that they would be excommunicated.
He stole classified documents (and probably shared them).

Post distorts outcome of 2018 lawsuit involving Trump family charity | Fact check

The claim: Trump's children were forced to attend a class and barred from operating a charity after being caught stealing from foundation

A July 3 Instagram post (direct link, archive link) shows a screenshot of a tweet from liberal activist Jeff Tiedrich about some of former President Donald Trump's children.

hey, remember when Hunter Biden got caught stealing from his own fake foundation and was forbidden from ever operating a charity again and a court forced him to attend a class on 'how not to steal'?" reads the post. "oh wait, that wasn't Hunter Biden, that was Don Jr., Ivanka and the idiot who eats library paste."

The post generated over 5,000 likes in less than a week, and the tweet accumulated over 25,000 likes.

Our rating: Partly false

The claim is referencing a 2018 lawsuit that alleged Donald Trump and his children unlawfully used funds from the Donald J. Trump Foundation to further business and political interests. It is true that Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. were forced to attend a court-mandated class as part of an agreement to resolve the lawsuit. However, they weren’t forbidden from operating a charity as the post claims.

Post distorts outcome of a 2018 case involving the Trump family.

President Donald Trump’s namesake charitable foundation agreed to cease operations in late 2018 as part of an agreement with New York’s attorney general, who alleged that the nonprofit organization was improperly leveraged to further Trump’s business and political interests. A November court order resolved the lawsuit, and Trump ultimately paid a total of $2 million in damages to eight charities, which also received equal portions of the foundation’s remaining $1.8 million.

There also was no part of the state’s lawsuit that dealt with allegations that the Trump Foundation “stole from a kids cancer charity,” as the posts claim.

Social Posts Distort Facts on Trump Charities

Posts on social media falsely claim that the Trump family is “disallowed from operating ANY charity” in New York because they “stole from a kids cancer charity.” That inaccurately describes the outcome of a court case involving the Donald J. Trump Foundation, and conflates it with allegations about the Eric Trump Foundation.

But it is not the case, as viral social media posts claim, that the Trump family was “disallowed from operating ANY charity” in New York “because they stole from a kids cancer charity.” That distorts the facts on a number of fronts, including by conflating two separate matters.

First of all, it’s wrong to say the family was “disallowed” from operating a charity in the state. There was no such stipulation in the settlement with the attorney general.

While the attorney general’s lawsuit initially asked the court to bar Trump and his grown children who sat on the foundation’s board from serving as any charity’s “officer, director, trustee or equivalent position” for a period of time, the settlement reached did not do that.

Instead, the agreement imposes a number of requirements that the president must meet if he “decides to serve as an officer or director of a pre-existing charitable organization” — or “form a new charitable organization and serve as an officer or director thereof” — in New York. For example, if Trump were to start a new organization, he would need to “provide Annual Reports to the Attorney General for 5 years.”

It also required Trump’s children — Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump — to participate in “mandatory training” relating to charitable organizations, which the three have already undergone.

There also was no part of the state’s lawsuit that dealt with allegations that the Trump Foundation “stole from a kids cancer charity,” as the posts claim.

Did Trump Call Fallen Soldiers ‘Suckers’ and ‘Losers’?

However, there appeared to be no evidence of an audio or video recording of the remarks in question, nor was there any documentation, such as transcripts or presidential notes, to independently confirm or deny the alleged quotes' authenticity. Moreover, since Snopes did not witness the in-question comments firsthand, we can't say for certain whether Trump called fallen soldiers "suckers" and "losers."

Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton, who said he was on the trip, also issued a denial to Fox News, days after the article came out, saying it was "simply false."

Then-U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo also denied the claims in an interview with Fox News in September 2020. He said, "I was with him for a good part of that trip, if I'm thinking about this visit and the timing right, and I never heard him use the words that are described in that article. Just, I never saw it."

In sum, the claim stemmed from a story by The Atlantic, which relied on anonymous, second-hand reports of Trump's alleged words; there was no independent footage or documented proof to substantiate the in-question comments; and Trump vehemently denies that he once called service members "losers" and "suckers." While it was certainly possible that he said those things, Snopes was unable to independently verify the claim.

But you believe?

How about Service Members getting killed by Biden in the withdrawal of Afghanistan? That really happened.

But with the open border I am now starting to question the Democrat party. Why on earth are they allowing mass illegal migration through open borders which is a major major security threat to the country. As I am thinking to vote for Republicans, I see so much hate for Trump. When Trump was President, it was same like the earlier 20 years for me except there were no wars. So what is wrong with Trump that is not the case with Democrat nominees? If it is his moral character then there are Democrat Presidents who have also been immoral. So I am ruling that out. Is it because he talks brash? That’s the only thing I can think of. Please explain and keep it simple. Why you hate Trump?

No one is this dumb

4. Project 2025
5. RW garbage
6. Dictatorships
7. Criminality like no other person in the History of the US.
8. Lying sack of crap

OP you are literally an idiot.

The story came from a New York Daily News scoop dated Sept. 10, 2020, reporting that the U.S. Department of Treasury had withheld an estimated $4 million from the FDNY World Trade Center Health Program. It went viral across the internet as many commemorated the anniversary of the attack.

It's true that the Trump administration has been withholding money from the program, the result of what appears to be a bureaucratic blunder — namely, the way the Department of Treasury tracks and collects on debts owed to the federal government.

In a letter dated Aug. 20, 2020, sent to U.S. Rep. Pete King, R-N.Y., the treasury department said that nearly $2 million had been withheld between August 2016 and May 2020 because of debts owed by New York City to the federal government.

The letter was sent to King in response to an inquiry by the congressman, asking why funds for the program were being withheld.

The Department of Treasury's letter to King stated that the department's Bureau of Fiscal Service is required to "offset federal payments for the collection of delinquent debts owed to the United States." The Treasury Department's program to offset such debts uses a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) to link payees and debtors.

"Some payees — such as New York City — use a single TIN for many of their subdivisions, which can result in a payment for one component of the payee being subject to offset for a debt by another component of the payee," the letter stated. "That is what happened in this case."
