Have you ever toured the campus? It’s striking. It feels like the Truman Show. Something is off.

+1

Because it attracts well-groomed kids who dress well?

DP. I know what the PP means. It’s not how the kids look or dress, it’s just the overall vibe of the place. It feels like if a gum wrapper fell out of your pocket, someone would jump out of the bushes with a dustpan and take care of it within seconds. I get the same feeling at Wake Forest. This is a huge plus to many, but for some , the hyper attention to order and neatness is slightly unsettling.

It’s a weird school. No name recognition. Mediocre academics. Extremely expensive. I think it’s a hard pass.

It's in the top rung of VA schools along with UVA, W&M, W&L for selectivity, wealth, academics.

Not for people who actually live in Virginia.

Honestly, I’ve always considered Richmond a be in the same class with a Furman, Woford, Sewanee. It’s not a peer with UVA, W&M and W&L. Nothing wrong with the school. But I also wouldn’t get carried away here.

Richmond in the same class with UVA, W&M and W&L??? Seriously? 🙄

No way is Richmond in the category of Furman, Woford, Sewanee. Or even Bucknell.

At our private it's equal to Washington and Lee and William and Mary in terms of difficulty of admission. The rest of these schools are much, much easier.

I have zero connection to Richmond and I'm simply reporting facts.

With W&L yes, not the others.

Agree with this. Gotta really wonder about the motivation of the so called adults shitposting about this school. My guess is that they thought it would be a safety for their kid and then got rejected.

So Richmond is better than UVA and W&M? Test score ranges and % submitting say otherwise. Richmond is almost at Pepperdine level test optional levels and doesn't have the west coast excuse. Nice try.

The “stats” at ur aren’t real. All test optional. Inflated GPAs. No one who can get into UVA or W&M goes there.
