Oddly enough the only thing my exhausted kid ate before bed tonight was a little bag of Cheetos. |
I agree with this so much. |
We got popcorn balls and peanuts. Can you imagine that now? |
Why do you walk around the world so convinced that your stance in things is correct? |
| We actually give out king size candy bars. Spend about $300. So fun. |
Just reading "popcorn balls" takes me back to my aunt and uncle's house. It was always our first stop. I loved them. |
All kids are happy and smiling at Halloween. But I can guarantee none of them are seeing your minis and saying “whoa! Really?” “OMG!” “Wow full size!” Or yelling to their friends “this house has full size!!” Several kids mouths dropped open, which I thoroughly enjoyed. One super cute 8ish year old boy with his sister kept saying “thank you so much!” as he waited for her to pick her bar. So no, PP was not over the top. We moved to full size bars about 3 years ago and the response is completely different. |
| Now that I know this upsets some very joyless people, I am going to give out Toblerones next year! |
So it really is all about you. |
That I could get behind. If you’re gonna tout your generosity, at least get the good stuff. |
Kids getting excited about their full sized bars is all about me? Okay! I was just explaining the difference of minis vs. fulls to the PP before you ask why I bothered to post about their reactions. |
I put out the mini bags of cheez its during a pandemic year and it seemed like those were the first to go. |
My whole family laughs at me for buying the pretzels. I love them, and I might as well get what I like. I did see a tiktok or instagram page about a house that gives out potatoes. Raw, basic potatoes. The kids love the potato house, it's legendary at this point. |

Not the OP. I just had to chime in that my kids love the occasional lunch snacks they get. First thing they ate was the onions rings lunch snack one house gave out yesterday. |
