Why do some people give out full-sized candy bars for Halloween?

We have a full box that we hold back for younger kids and kids we know aren' as able to walk the full neighborhood.

We give out full size bars and finger lights. If a kid wants a finger light instead of a full size bar, they can. We love doing it and the kids are so appreciative.

You must be REALLY old... in the early 70s, we still had 'penny candy" and "nickel candy" and all of those were small.

It’s funny how, when I was a kid, I thought rich people all gave out full sized bars. Now that I know you lot of scrooges, I know the really rich people were the ones giving out toothbrushes and carrot sticks.
