NP. One problem is that theyre widely abused. It would as if a great many people constantly faked having a handicap and laughed about using the handicap spots. Sooner or later, people would realize that the spots were not being used as intended and there would be a movement to do away with them or to enforce them quite stringently, like youre seeing now. Also, handicap spots dont present the food hygiene issues that parking spots do. So it's very different and I think more people are starting to get really fed up and working towards a change. Sadly, it's been really abused by selfish people. |
Never seen that there. |

thx to the PP who posted all the dog friendly stores. That list will only get MUCH larger.
People complain to the dog owners...take it up with these corporations. see how much they care about your opinion on dogs. Allowing dogs will provide a much better revenue stream than banning them. I have a small dog who is well behaved. If I am out running errands I may need to make a quick stop somewhere. If they allow dogs, I am buying something. If they don't..I move on. The anti-dog group here will never win..so deal with it. I deal with screaming children at a michelin restaurant..you can deal with dogs at home depot

Actually, more and more stores are banning dogs than before. I think people have had it |
This makes me WANT to bring my dog to dinner, so some dolt like you can complain, and I’ll be asked to leave and not need to pay for dinner

OMG, we'll both love it! Start heading out around DC and hopefully we can run into each other. Trust me, it will be MY PLEASURE! |
No they are not. |
| The last time I went to a grocery store, some lady has here super mean little white dog who was barking it's teeth and literally guarding her shopping cart. And the stores here are so small, it's hard to get past a yapping, bitey dog and not be in tooth range. I just turned around. |

Because it hasn't. |
Yes, they are. Cry about it |
Dog owners are so oblivious and selfish |
I don't care if a store allows dogs or not but it will be interesting to see what happens if, god forbid, someone is bitten by a dog in a store that allows them. One lawsuit could change all policies. |
It certainly will. I'm already seeing more people fed up with the madness. And almost all dog owners who have violent dogs that get in trouble for biting someone go on about "He was such a sweet dog!" meaning they have very altered/bad judgement about their pets. It's getting worse and the situation more volatile every day |
The only one who seems insane here is you. |
