Where can I move that is warmer, slightly cheaper, somewhat liberal with good schools?

Lol I’m from Oregon. It is technically warmer in the winter but it’s also raining for ten months straight. Literally nobody moves to Oregon for the weather.

100%. Just moved here from Seattle and I never want to live there again. The weather is lame.

This is a great up and coming area but make sure you get yourself a tornado shelter.

It’s a master planned community but the other towns of Fayetteville and Newnan are encroaching so much that traffic is crushing at rush hour and the main roads can’t handle it…

It’s roads are getting crowded not just because of encroaching (?) neighboring residents but because of growing number of visitors and tourists. In recent year, Expedia ranked Peachtree City as number one city to visit in US because of its unique landscape and lifestyle.

I'd stay away from the whole state of Georgia, especially if you are a POC. It's gotten better in recent years, but certain views are entrenched there, and you don't have to go very far to experience them. We dealt with routine racism in Decatur, GA (supposedly the "Berkeley" of the South). Everything from being told to "go back to your country", to my kids' being made fun of for their "smelly" (ethnic) lunch, to my visiting uncle taking a walk in our neighborhood and cops almost being called (by a supposedly liberal, lesbian Jew). It's really obvious when people are just paying lip service to being liberal, as opposed to being a sincere ally. What I experienced was not unique; many of our POC friends had similar experiences. And the shootings in Duluth, GA last year of Asian women should warn you what it's really like at the core.

Eugene born and raised and lmao @ moving here for weather.

Former Oregonian here (Portlander). The I-5 corridor is definitely liberal and warmer than DC. I loved the weather in Portland, vastly preferring it to DC. Last summer was a heat wave of historic proportions, but generally summers are mild and pleasant, no humidity. And winters are rarely below freezing. But gray and rain nine months of the year. But misty rain. Not like east coast rain.

Very liberal! And cheaper than DC. An hour to the coast.

Lol, no one calls Decatur the Berkley of the South. Plus your kids should not be bringing pungent foods to school anyways. If other kids are bringing turkey or ham sandwiches it will be pretty obvious if your kids bring curry or other strong smelling foods.

Warmer isn't always better unless you love oppressive heat for longer than it lasts in DC in the summer.

Do you even hear your racist self? Why does it matter if the smell of some other kid's food is "obvious"? Maybe those kids are offended by the smell of dead animals from your kid's lunch.

Well lunch meats don't have a pungent smell to start. Also it is not racist to state facts. Fish, garlic and other strong smelling foods should not be brought in for school lunches.

Pick 2. You can't have all 3

Tucson, AZ. It’s liberal (surrounded by conservatives), low cost, warm

This is a good answer, but it's a lot more than warm.
