Where can I move that is warmer, slightly cheaper, somewhat liberal with good schools?

NC is too red.

With good schools ? I think you are not going to find all those. I could even see lower cost of living, warmer and fairly liberal (eg Durham, Miami, Tacoma) but can’t speak for the schools. May

Georgetown, DE. It is the county seat so it tends to be more liberal. Schools are good

Look at college towns. I grew up in one in the South, and it was definitely warmer and cheaper than DC. I don't think the schools were as good as my kid's public school here, but I suspect the professor parents helped advocate for strong public schools. The surrounding area was much more conservative, but the town itself leans liberal.

You can look for higher education -- for instance, Gainesville is a liberal island in the middle of rural north Florida. Very international, educated, liberal, but they like their football!

There are also more blue areas in some red/purple states. For instance, southern Arizona (minus Sierra Vista) is way more blue than the Pheonix area. For instance, Trump did worse in Pima County AZ than he did in Frederick or Arundel Counties in MD. That's more than slighly more warm than here, but you get the picture -- there are lots of liberal towns/cities even within states that are red. And I think when you get out west, religion is much less of a factor than it is in the South and Midwest, so people tend to be more liberal about people's personal lives.

Wilmington, NC. You'll definitely have trumpers there, but there are a good amount of liberal people too. It's on the water, great weather and lower COL.

New Mexico.

St Pete has terrible schools.

It’s warm and liberal-ish though.

You can’t have all three. Pick what’s important.

+1. I have a lot of liberal friends in Wilmington.

For a higher COL (still lower than the DMV!) but better schools than Wilmington, LOVE Chapel Hill.

If you’re ok with similar COL and moving to California: Long Beach, CA and Dana Point, CA. Also Ventura, CA. San Luis Obispo.

As a former Californian, most of their public schools aren't that great. Perpetually severely under funded due to Prop 13.

Weather - cannot be beat.

this is a great suggestion!

Agreed

Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC. College towns tend to be liberal, it’s warmer and the cost of living is better than here.
