I'm close to 300 pounds, though. I should lose SOMETHING like this. At the very least, I shouldn't be GAINING. |
| Doesn't work for me either OP. Everyone is different. |
You said you hadn't weighed yourself in 8 months. For all you know you gained 15 pounds and this 8 pounds is legitimate weight loss |
| I really really recommend the podcast I learned about from DCUM: Weight Loss for Busy Physicians. It changed my life and upset so much I thought I knew about diet/weight loss. |
You’ll need this to figure out what to listen to since she has a billion episodes: https://katrinaubellmd.com/roadmap-fb/ |

What do you eat in your window?
If you truly don't eat anything after 6 pm - you should lose weigh. |
Salad for lunch and half a Hello Fresh meal for dinner. I take glucomannan before and don't eat the full serving. |
| DH just offered me a beer, which I said no too, and he's throwing half a plain chicken breast on the grill for me instead of the burgers and sausage everyone else is having. It's kind of embarrassing to be fat and pick at food like this. |
| I would bet you gained weight in the past 8 months and this is actual weight loss. Either you're lying or you have a medical condition. If youre legitimately eating 1000 calories a day and not losing weight at all, something is wrong. It does sound like a dietician could help you figure out what to eat |
I mean, maybe. I'm the poster who posted a while back about the husband who snacked constantly and brought all sorts of garbage into the house. He stopped once he realized I was seriously about losing weight. And my pants fit looser and my body just looks different somehow. But I'm distraught about how much I weigh. |
I think you're not eating enough. I would recommend a program that helped me to lose weight, but I'm not sure they do it in English FWIW just in case you can read in Russian https://m.facebook.com/groups/1271439099540237/permalink/1925058287511645/ |
| Hi op, I think you should try another plan, like weight watchers |
| It sounds like you're severely restricting which will majorly backfire. |
Why? |
Because it's not sustainable. You may lose a lot of weight at first but it won't last. I mean this nicely as a former 300 pounder, you're idea of nutrition and healthy eating seems limited and that won't lead to long term success. |
