I agree. But without underlying mental state issues (depression?) it's hard to miss 120lb gain, even over multiple years I think first thing OP needs is mental health professional help. |
| 14/10 isn’t going to have much, if any impact. If you can’t up your non eating hours you should probably try some other kind of guided eating plan. |
You're way under-eating. Not enough fat in your diet, not enough nutrients/macro-nutrients |
I explained in another post that it's also keeping up my college athlete/military husband. He eats total garbage, and though I do 99% of the grocery shopping, if he brings crap in, I'll eat it. I did a lot better when I lived alone and was too lazy to go the store and buy unhealthy food. Besides, even eating apples, you'll gain if you eat too many. And yes, maybe I'm depressed. WFH is no joke, it's emotionally destructive, and the isolation does a number on the mind. But there's no cure for that except a new job, which I'm actively working on. It's hard when most companies are remote because of covid, though. And now that I'm fat, I'm unlikely to be hired for anything in-person (my second job is minimum wage). But like I said, I'm actively searching and have leads out. |
I honestly don't understand how it won't have impact if I'm eating much less and gave up snacking at night. Might as well stop trying if drastically cutting calories isn't helping. |
Sorry but there is no rationale excuse for gaining 120 lbs. WFH and your DH are not to blame, at all. You really need to figure out what is going on with you that you could allow that to happen and keep progressing |
When you never leave the house, you stop caring. |
And you weigh how much? Maybe you should actually research into WFH and associated weight gain instead of spouting bs. |
|
OP gained weight without eating according to the title.
It is like getting pregnant without sex. |
Good God will you ever get tired of nastily spamming any thread whatsoever about weight loss? I recognize you immediately. You aren't helpful and you usually aren't right. Idk what your issues are but cool it. |
So did you do this? Did you at least weigh yourself and write it down? |
Nope sorry, you can blame WFH for 5-10 lbs gain but anymore than that you really need to take a hard look at why you are using food in this way |
I agree. I had great success with WW and I’ve kept it off. |
If you stopped caring - you should RUN not just go for professional help. Letting things go (to the point of 120 lb gain) is sign of mental health issues. Please stop listening to the random people on internet, take care of yourself and seek the help you need. |
