How to lose 5 pounds in a week

Eat cabbage. Omelet with chopped cabbage in the morning. Cabbage soup for lunch. Roasted cabbage for dinner.
Done and done.

just be aware that any severe calorie restriction is going to slow your metabolism even more.

OP here. Update I weigh 112.8 pounds. I haven't eaten anything yet. I will probably break my fast around 1pm.

No to PP. I have done IF and calorie restriction and nothing has happened to my metabolism.

I think I've fallen off track with healthy eating and portion control. You can lose weight by doing that.

I am adding cardio.

OP here. UPDATE

I broke my fast around 1:30PM. I had a salad with grilled shrimp (Dressing on the side). Blueberries, and 14 sweet potato fries.
I weigh 114.

Dinner will be light.

If you like these updates, I'll do them everyday.

Cabbage soup diet. I week per month. I read about it here a year or so ago. I have done it and it works. hardest part was giving up sweets. I am a sugar addict. The diet itself was easy. Love vegetable soup. Just no beans or potatoes in it. Those are the carbs you are giving up for a week. Like the poster who I read about, I change up the soup every couple of days. If i cheat I lose 5 pounds instead of 7. Your choice.

I mean op must be very short to think she is overweight at 114lbs!

So OP wants to lose 5lbs in one week. Well there are 3500 calories in a lb of fat. So op will need a calorie deficit of 2500 a day. That is equivalent to running about 20 miles. Have fun OP running 20 everyday for the next 7 days.

People helping OP here are delusional. Then people complain they put the weight right back on. No kidding you did, you never lost that weight you thought you did.

So right! She can take laxatives and will result in more "weight" loss! I doubt it took her a week to put on 5lbs, but now 5lbs must be gone in a week?
Maybe on oxygen if you have severe covid?
Eat some raw chicken, that might help too!

You're very odd and no one cares.

Anonymous wrote:I recently starting gaining weight--perhaps my metabolism is slowing down. I am 35 and all of a sudden I noticed I have been gaining weight. I work out three-five days a week and eat pretty healthy. I am now five pounds overweight. Any advice on how I can lose it in a week. Any meal plans? I don't feel good about myself now.

You may be eating more calories than you realize. Measure your food and count the calories for a week.

That’s so unsustainable. You won’t have the energy to complete your day and your body won’t be getting what it needs to function. I’ve done overly restrictive diets before and even though they “worked” short term, it always came back to haunt me.

Ya, I’m just fat. Sick of working out 90 minutes + a day/ eating low carb less then 1500 calories and not having the weight fall off. I have about 40lbs to go. I’m so sick of putting in the effort, and not seeing results. So, I’ll try reducing my caloric in take.
