I’m fine with masking and happy to do it whenever/wherever asked.

It’s silly. And a total waste of time and money. But, you can’t coach stupid. Let it go.

Sounds to me like something else is going on here. Seek some therapy.

I net my fruit trees and my blueberry bushes EVERY year.

Your disdain for me would be overwhelming.

Cheaper and easier than buying a new tree. Not sure what the big deal is.

I'm sure they're crying themselves to sleep at night from losing your totally meaningless approval.

I highly recommend it right now because having been through the last two cicada invasions I can verify that they will fly right into your mouth if you are unmasked.

The risk is so low, making your trees is no necessary! And if there is damage, it's not like the trees are going to die or be sent to the tree hospital. I'm willing to take the risk.

Such an odd thing to care about. I'm sure you're a fantastic neighbor

It's not a big deal, but you're not going to need to buy a new tree if you don't net them for Brood X. Even if your tree is young. That's where the eye rolls come from: the netting communicates a sense of hysteria. (Not OP)

No way, I have no problem with netting berries! I net my tomatoes. I’m talking about 8ft tall maples wrapped in tule.
