Did anyone from DMV get into MIT this Fall?

The same people that say the “DMV” also call National Airport “Reagan Airport.” Yes, I judge them.


I will go to my grave calling the airport DCA or National but I’ve given in on the DMV moniker. It’s a useful shorthand for the very extended exurban area (eg leesburg, Gaithersburg) that I wouldn’t ordinarily think of when saying “the Washington area” (which I think of as the District and close in suburbs like Bethesda, Alexandria, Arlington, TP, green belt, etc.)
