parents are even worse. I'm guessing a friendship league team with a professional coach filled with kids who play a bunch of other sports |
I think rec parents are entitled to believe your rankings posts are rather stupid and their opinion is no less valid. |
| Perhaps it is from an out of the area family who will be moving here next year. Military orders ate getting dropped, so newcomers in this heavy military area are now looking for clubs. |
Exactly!!! |
Perhaps...but incredibly, extremely, nearly-impossibly unlikely. Its just Loudoun Team Mom being Team Mom. |
Yeah, those questions get asked all the time and always in relation to a more refined geographic location. This is not a "just moved to the area" post. |
as opposed to grown adults who argue and post about kids soccer programs yep, my comment struck a nerve huh? |
Who cares. Unfortunately the way travel soccer is in this area, the top team in every age group will be a crap shoot. Whichever team is the top U14 girls soccer team is no reflection of the club, just that they got lucky for that age group. |
| I guess That a team ranking first doesn’t precisely reflect that their players are better than players in a team ranking third fourth or even last. There are many other factors that favor some teams vs others. Individually a team winning less can have more individual talent. This means a club unfortunately is focused on producing 2-3 good players because all they care for is winning so they can expand their name, while another club is more focused on producing more good players because the club’s name and record is already well positioned. |
| Ok I’ll jump in...Loudoun U14s are the best! |
Maybe for now, but not for long. |
| Haha, I guess we shall see. Loudoun’s coach at this age is good |
| Based off rankings it would be FCV, McLean, Loudoun,, Bethesda, Maryland United, VDA, arlington, Baltimore armor |
The rankings are a joke. |
| to further dilute things, SYC is starting to put together some strong girls teams. The club absorbed all of LMVSC's best players on the boys and girls side... so another club to choose from |
