And we more than likely will.

+1 if we continue as we've started. Signing far left policies in the first day is not a good way to start off.

Neither is obstructing legislative business from Day One.

Actually making government help American families is a very good way to start off.

Mitch McConnell is now literally using the filibuster to stop Democrats from becoming the Senate majority.

Schumer can use the nuclear option to force the issue. To do this, he needs Joe Manchin and Kristen Sinema to agree to it ir ge w9n't have the votes on the floor. They have not agreed, but they did indicate they were backing Schumer's stance and they won't let this continue forever.

Sinema has come out against the filibuster as well.

Schumer appearing on Maddow tonight, I’d like to hear what he has to say about this.

Me again, Sinema is against ABOLISHING the filibuster, sorry for garbling that.

In this case - I agree. Why is he the leader? Who is the equivalent of Governor Cuomo in the Senate Democrats?

+2. He needs to play hard ball.

Far left? That phrase does not mean what you think it does . . .

biden's approval rating and policies are well into the high 505's to mid 70's. What he and the Dems are trying to do for COVID and the economy are wildly popular and yet, here we are, stuck in first gear, beholden to Mitch McConnell.

The filibuster should be restructured to require votes from senators representing 60 percent of Americans.

This is holding up legislative business and slowing nominee hearings since its the chairmen who call for hearing dates, etc. One committee's chairman has now retired, (the Health cmte) so the HHS nominee can't even have a hearing yet because no one is in charge of the committee to order one up.

Look, this is very simple. David Perdue won the election on November 4. But due to a weird quirk in Georgia, he was forced into a runoff. Then that Stacey Abrams woman took advantage and overwhelmed Georgia’s election security apparatus and stole Perdue’s seat. THAT’S why there’s an artificial 50-50 split.

So Senator McConnell is fighting fire with fire. He owes it to David Perdue and the rest of the party.

He knows the media is desperate to call Biden a success for sending checks to voters and juicing the economy. For running the economy on a giant credit card.

But Senator McConnell can stop the Democrat Party in their tracks by stopping them from organizing. That’s why he’s filibustering the organizing resolution. He knows Schumer’s weakness and the Democrat Party’s illegitimacy. He knows Biden will be blamed when nothing happens. He knows an economic rebound depression will flip both houses of Congress .

There won’t be an organizing resolution this Congress; Democrats are far too weak . There won’t be any Democrat chairs . The Biden Administration will be strangled in infancy. And they’ll all get voted out in 22 and then in 24.
