Agree with the Miyazaki recommendations: My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Ponyo.

Ratatouille is one of my favorites and it’s G, but my sensitive kid had us turn it off when we tried to watch it the first time.

Moana is great but it’s PG.

It's not even a question. I've watched all the major kids' movies. Hayao Miyazaki's animated masterpieces are beyond anything Pixar ever did... let alone the awful pre-Pixar Disney.

Also, I think the Lion King is ridiculously overrated. I seriously don’t get the love for that movie.

The fire monster thing in Moana is terrifying. Definitely not good for sensitive kids.

Spirited Away is much more intense than Totoro, and is rated PG. I agree, the best is My Neighbor Totoro, no question.
