Stoned wheat thins

Trader joe's has a few good ones. They have one made of beets that looks really pretty on a cheese board (although I also like that one with goat cheese).

The Pepperidge Farm trio with the water, wheat and butterfly-shaped crackers.

Rosemary olive oil triscuits is the right answer

I vote for triscuits too, but I think they're pretty dry. If that's a concern then maybe not triscuits.

I'm also partial to wheat thins, and little rounds of baguette.

Summer sausage on triscuits is my favorite. Add a banana pepper or spreadable cheese if you want more moisture.

This summer sausage snack is very, very old money.

Interesting because I grew up eating it, and was quite poor! My dad is from Northern Minnesota and ate lots of shelf stable meat.

How about the mini size nan breads? Also really like the rosemary triscuits.

Bretons have always been my favorite. I used to get mini Bretons as well, but I haven't found those in the store in years, unfortunately.

I’m laughing at this, too. We regularly had summer sausage at Christmas without some kind of mustard sauce (served warm) and it was delicious! We were not wealthy. Not even a little bit. Summer sausage was just a treat we got once a year.

I second your LOL. I grew up solidly middle class, possibly the opposite of old money, and we always had summer sausage at the holidays and I LOVE it.

For cracker types, I like Triscuits, stoned wheat thins, and those Kashi multigrain ones.

OT: Does anyone remember Chicken in a Biscuit crackers?

Trader Joe’s Original Savory Crackers. For those of you who like Breton crackers, Trader Joe’s sells their own version that is exactly the same as the mini Bretons. They’re bite size and great with dips.
