This is literally made me laugh. Talk abolut pandemic theater!
I fear for restaurants and bars, but the reality is they should not be open at all for indoor service. |
So Covid only spreads 12am-5am? |
Yes, they need financial support. But they should be closed. I hate our useless federal government more every day. Plenty of other countries have figured this out without having 2000 people DYING every single damn day. It's shameful. |
Completely agree. But he's definitely not going to do it. Just like he repeatedly said today that he's leaving everything up to the schools whether they open or close. Which means our schools will never reopen. |
Why do they “need financial support”? Did anyone hold a gun to their heads and force them to open a restaurant or bar, or work at one? Business changes. Markets change. People need to adapt, not get bailed out. Should we still keep paying people to make buggy whips and horse saddles, too? |

The press conference was a whole lotta nothing. Everyone freaking out, and the new "restrictions" don't change anything I'm not already doing,
Stay at home between midnight - 5am (were a lot of people out then) Everyone wears a mask indoors Gatherings capped at 10 people (what is a gathering anyway, I am not having anyone over). Spectator limit stays the same - 25 Sports stay the same schools stay the same Restaurants stay the same retail stays the same I don't get it. |
I should go to jail for thinking the governors "covid curfew" is ridiculous? We all know this it not going to do anything to slow the spread. It is all for show. |
Yes, Corona needs to catch her zzzzs during the day |
We are up to 3000 people a day now. |
Because if they don't get financial support, they will instead successfully push to be allowed to have their businesses open, with people at them. Which do you prefer? |
Markets are one thing--yes, that's the risk you take. I risk one doesn't have to take to open a lawful one in this country is your own government shutting you down. I can't believe you would compare the behavior of markets to a communist-style lockdown. Seriously, you all cannot see that the government cannot impede your right to run a business. Period. |
Because it is a "government taking." |
+1. How many people are hanging out, spreading covid, at 3 am?? |
Of course the government can, and does. |
|
Yesterday more people died from Covid, in 24 hours, than died on 9/11. We need more than a curfew. We need stay-at-home orders. |
