Hunt Country Tournament

It says:
Reduction in public and private gatherings: All public and private in-person gatherings must be limited to 25 individuals, down from the current cap of 250 people. This includes outdoor and indoor settings.

Why would players be excluded?

Have you read the actual sixth amended EO 67? I assume not. Go here, look at it, and see paragraph 13, recreational sports. All your questions will be answered:

Thanks! That answered my question.

Btw I know this is dcum but the snark was really not necessary... I was genuinely trying to figure out how this was permitted, and this answers my question. So thanks!

I'm happy to help, but the snark you received was because your tone came across pretty argumentative for someone who had not read the order. Maybe it wasn't intended that way.

Yes, only 12 spectator's per team. If your team has more than 12 players, which I'm sure it does, then you have to rotate which parents get to watch which game. So for the most part...a parent should be able to watch at least 1 and maybe 2 games. Who gets to watch the final if they make it though? Maybe a lottery? Fun times. Enjoy : )

We're going with the rules the hosts disseminated. If they want to change them, they need to update their website

your team manager should notify you of the change. Last thing you want is to be kicked out of the tournament for not following the rules.

one parent walks in with kids. Other parent walks in 10 minutes later, or watches from further away.

Seriously? In a rapidly changing environment where they are lucky to still be able to play, you are hung up on them not updating their website? The email went out to the team managers yesterday.

This person is just trolling. Relax. You are easily triggered.

I hear Dicks Sporting Goods is running out of camoflauge clothes because parents are hiding in the woods to watch their kids play

Our kids are in different tournaments this weekend. So easy- we will swap who we watched on Sunday. Frankly, U16 is much more exciting than U13 (don’t tell my younger son). I prefer to watch the older boys.

I heard there was a mom fight in a Fairfax County Michael’s today over grass green spray paint.

My travel coach in the 80s was insane. We were undefeated for several years and he was intense. He got kicked out of games all of the time and then would pop up in the woods or hiding between cars in the parking lot. This reminded me of that

They have not updated their website. I agree that they should. If it would be helpful, here is the email that they sent team managers:

Spectators (updated 11/13/2020):
 Spectators shall remain in the car/parking lot until 10 minutes before the start of thegame.
 Signage will be provided and must be adhered to regarding spectator locations for viewing the
matches.
 No congregating in and around the field pre- or post-game to allow for minimizing contactwith
the prior or next game spectators and/or players.
 Each team is allowed 12 spectators to attend per game, this does not have to be the same 12
each game. (this is to stay below the 25 spectator limit in the new VA Governor Executive
Order dated 11/13/2020)
 All 24 spectators will be required to wear a mask at all times.
 Spectators will be required to be behind or the spectator line or at least 10 feet from the field,
whichever is further.
 If at any point the game exceeds the 24 spectators, the game will be stopped until we are back
in compliance with the governor's orders.
 If the game is stopped due to excessive spectators then the clock will continue to run.
 Teams may choose one (1) representative to stream or record the game for the parents unable
to attend. This person counts against the 12 spectator rule. The tournament hosts do not
take any responsibility for this activity.
 Spectators shall maintain 10ft social distancing
