Expectant and Postpartum Moms
| PP at 19:25, so tell us your secret re size 4 and no maternity clothes. |
Right. You don't go around telling everyone. She told a magazine interviewer. Big difference. I've never liked Gisele mostly because I can't stand Tom Brady...he is such a cad. So, any woman that would marry him has to have some screws loose. She'll be left for the next floozie in due time. That's just the way of professional athletes. |
| I never thought that would be me. I always told my husband I would be the size of a buffalo and enjoy every minute. It was just how it was, I am on the taller side, 5'9" so there was just more room for the baby to be in there I guess. After he was born he had to go back to the hospital for jaundice 3 days later and when we checked in they had the nerve to even ask me where the mother was. Awesome. |

Hello DC Urban Moms...
Lydia's all "whatup" but I'm like "they're urban in the sophisticated kind of way, loser." then she said "suck it fancy i say 'whatup' all the time." this is what i have to deal with all the time...but she's awesome and we're so happy you liked our letter to gisele...and the thing is, we LOVE all moms, but ones who've been moms for 8 minutes and then talk about how we're wimps during childbirth? girl, please.... ponder this...gisele is in week 2 or so of boob-wrenching pain...no alcohol...and tom is like "bridget did this by herself, why can't you? i'm in the post-season, baby..." then pour yourself a nice big fat glass of wine...xoxo, kate & lydia rantsfrommommyland.com |
| Size 4 mom: could you wear your size 4 pants throughout pregnancy? Just wondering bc I am a size 0/2 and I had to get maternity jeans/pants at 12 weeks. I'm 5'2", though, so baby had nowhere to go but out, and I had a pretty clear baby bump by then. Did you switch to leggings/sweats, or did your size 4 jeans fit the entire time you were pregnant? |
|
I'm from Brazil and our jeans there are so low cut that they easily fit through out pregnancy. All our bottons are designed like that so if our butts don't grow we're fine with just a looser top that doesn't need to have the label saying maternity in it.
But she stinks anyway : P |

I remember when Nicole Kidman was pregnant and she appeared to have gained maybe 2 pounds. However, I do not recall her discussing her lack of weight gain, especially not in a manner that was so holier-than-thou. Gisele has come across as a mega-douche, even if what she's saying has happened to others.
However, props for giving her child an actual name. Really. I wasn't expecting that. |
| The ultimate revenge? Her scrawny spawn is probably missing all manner of nutrients necessary for proper synapsing, etc. We'll have another low IQ celeb in our midst. |
Why you need to be so mean? Just because she's pretty the child has to suffer? That's what formula is for, babe... |

YOu are all so jealous!
My God! I bought maybe 1 maternity pant and 1 maternity top in my whole pregnancy. I am 5'8 and 150lbs, and a size 8. My pants fit perfect the whole time, or with a bella band. She prob bought size 4 pants and they fit her... did you see pictures of her, she looked barely pregnant! |

now that's not very nice. let's wish that cute baby a healthy and happy life. no need to be snarky....sheesh!!!
as for gisele, she just sounds silly in her interview....holier than thou....pollyanna unrealistic. she does herself in with such smugness. |
NP way I see it the kid has to suffer cuz his moms a stuck up bitch. |
| Such bitterness and hatred for someone who you don't even know. If she had the exact opposite experience during her pregnancy she would have been slammed for that as well. And the folks saying her baby was malnourished have serious issues. She told details about her pregnancy and delivery because she was ASKED. Be secure in yourself in your own life. You'll feel a lot better. |

Here's my view on Gisele.
She's this gorgeous woman who started dating a guy who is (in some opinions) the most gorgeous guy in football. Not to mention one of the best- if not the best- QB in football at the time. Neither particularly does it for me but whatever. So, she starts dating this guys and almost out of the gate, his ex announces her pregnancy. So, she may have the guy but the other woman has the spawn. Talk about being one upped!!! So, what is she to do? Produce spawn number two. As for her no weight gain, natural birth in a tub . . . I could not possibly care less. She is just as annoying post birth as she was beforehand. I do think that by blabbing her big mouth to the press, she gives the false impression that her experience is "normal" and that it is doable for everyone. It's not. I did ok while preggo in terms of weight. I have no stretch marks. I bust my ass working out. But, life, child, illness, snow, etc. get in the way. If I had a trainer, my job was to look good, a personal chef, nanny, etc., I'm pretty sure I'd look a damn sight thinner/better than I do now, too. That is the problem with her interview. Frankly, women do not need her as another reason to feel bad about themselves -- I know too many women who suffered anorexia and bulimia and so this strikes a chord with me. |
And mention the part where they puke it all up again to save the calories.
