Chrissy Teigen surprise natural conception. Sigh.

And I promise you, you’d feel different if it hadn’t worked.

I barely made it thru. She even told me to “just have a date night” and it will happen. I was livid inside.

Omg I’m so sorry! I can’t believe she didn’t give you a heads up. Also it drives me crazy when people who have been through infertility say things like that. They of all people should know better.

I had a surprise pregnancy and I didn't realize how hurtful it was to some people who struggled to become parents. I just didn't understand at the time and I think the hurt feeling linger now decades later. I feel awful now that I am older and wiser but can't undo it.

You mean the implants caused infertility?

Dear OP,
I am going to write Christy a nasty letter because, how DARE she get pregnant before you! Goodness, the audacity. Doesn’t she KNOW there are women in the world who can’t get pregnant. She is such a cow and we all HATE HER now. Seriously. The world does not revolve around you Christy. Stop making this all about you Christy - it. My. TURN!

Signed,
You

No, PP means she underwent an elective surgery while pregnant without realizing she was pregnant. That's kind of scary to think about.

Doctors would test for pregnancy before doing surgery. Something doesn't make sense about it.

I think she wasn't pregnant yet when she had her surgery. I think she lied about the date of her surgery, and she had her surgery earlier than she reported. But she didn't want to admit to having surgery when she did because it would have been at the first peak of COVID when everything was locked down.

I do think that there is some evidence that if a woman can get pregnant with assistance if can sometimes kick-start natural things, and this isn't guaranteed but also not uncommon.

+1 this happened to my cousin. IVF for first two pregnancies, surprise oops third pregnancy.

This happened to me. IVF for my first pregnancy, surprise pregnancy the same month I got my “just in case” IUD out and called our clinic to set up an appointment to start talking about trying again.

I know someone who lost a pregnancy (that she didn't know about beforehand) and during a surgery. It was in the Dominican Republic, but still, she wasn't tested for pregnancy beforehand. I think it was liposuction? Definitely something elective and cosmetic that she traveled to get done more cheaply.

LOL pretty sure top-tier American surgeons in LA are going to give a test (and not a cheapo drugstore test either).

Honestly, she's lucky that's the worst thing that happened to her if she chose to have cheap bargain-basement lipo in a third world country.

There’s always a conspiracy theorist in the crowd. Did you vote for trump, too?

LOL I’ve had that surgery - and other elective surgeries - and no they don’t test. Most capable women in America can be trusted to self-certify whether they’re pregnant or not. Chrissys an idiot. Lucky idiot though.
