We had a similar group come down our residential Capitol Hill block last month around 11 or 12 banging pots & drums, carrying defund the police signs, and chanting “we don’t need no F*@$ing cops” — while the police just politely kept their distance and closed the street and intersections to other traffic allowing the group to proceed safely.

That's the best protest I've seen in a long time. I mean, it's DC, and we are really used to protests over the decades. That one was good. Also, nonviolent.
