This agenda item was scheduled for 2 hours. Who knows when they'll actually begin discussing a return to school.

Just more studies and data collection. There's never any action. They are going to be collecting data until October 27. That's great and important but school starts really soon and what is the plan to make the best possible distance learning plan? What are we doing to get the buildings ready for whenever students are ready to return? These are major decisions that should have been made in June and valuable time is being wasted here in July. It would be different if the BOE was holding extra meeting sessions but they seem to think everything is business as usual.

So glad you folks have nothing to do with planning for reopening, because you have no idea about the complexities of this system and why taking the time to lay groundwork matters.

Operational model at each school will depend on staff availability, student/parent desires, and health conditions.

(Comment - good. Each school will be producing details for their own community/program)

Are they voting on any actions, or just discussing?
