I have been ALL about the jelly beans lately. Gives me a little sugar rush, fuel to keep forging ahead with working at home. Bad habit. Wish I could say I've been eating just a couple.

*ive been baking a lot with kids. Sometimes I'll replace my afternoon snack with whatever I baked with them. Sometimes I eat a bunch of black licorice or one orange, and if they end up being super good I'll eat another and another! In which case i have a super light dinner.

I do a 45-60 min hiit workout most morning. Sometimes a Pilates or strength training video. I take a daily 30 min hike kids no matter the weather. If weather is nice we'll do a second walk after dinner

I wish I could only eat three meals/day. Snacks are my major downfall but I get hungry soon after each “meal”.

WEEKDAY
Breakfast: bowl of yogurt with fresh berries. Coffee with a serving size of flavored creamer

Mid morning (about half the week). Apple with cheddar cheese or peanut butter. Sometimes veggies with hummus

Lunch: salad with grilled chicken, cheese, and a few croutons. Have a homemade dijon vinaigrette dressing I use. OR piece of sourdough bread with avocado and hard boiled egg. Sometimes with tomato and swiss cheese too.

Afternoon snack: chips of some type

Dinner: varies a lot but pretty much some type of protein and veg. DH is low carb so by default I pretty much am.
I rarely drink during the week

WEEKEND
Breakfast: Bacon and eggs and coffee

Mid morning snack: fruit and cheese

Lunch: Either avocado toast or something like a tuna sandwich

Snack: def. more chips than what i eat during the week

Dinner: one night is indulge. Either take out or cook up something gluttonous. Other night is normal

Dessert: chips, popcorn, maybe ice cream. Something along those lines.
Fri/Sat I have 2-3 glasses of wine each night.

I workout 60 min a day 5-7 times a week.

This is pretty close to what I eat normally. Although the chips serving size have gotten bigger and I'm indulging in Doritos vs. healthier options. Last week DS and I baked up a ton of stuff and that got me into trouble!

Don’t be so smug.

DP, when I was younger, I used to be able to go long stretches without food but after an stomach ulcer and ulcerative colitis, my stomach can’t tolerate it anymore. An apple, a cheese stick, or a small amount of almonds does the trick.
