Plenty in the DMV that deliver try google and read the reviews. |
Ha ha ha ha... Your doctor has no idea how to get legal THC? What is the old trope? If I ask you to show your junk and you do...you must not be a cop. |
1. I don't see the rich and powerful caring about the spirit of laws. 2. Wrong. That was not the intent. The intent was to stop locking up nonviolent people and clogging the courts with cannabis offenses. The people and government of DC would like tax revenue from the booming trade but Congress has stood in the way. |
Funny thing about the "spirit of the law": it only goes one way. If you have violated the letter of the law, a prosecutor or judge can decide you didn't violate the spirit and give you leniency. However, if you complied with the letter of the law they can't prosecute you anyway, you complied with the law. |
| There was a door dash driver who came to our house last night and was smoking pot behind the wheel. The porch reeked if it and you could smell it a few minutes later where he left his car running. Is there a DUI law for marijuana? |
The "gifts," while I have no problem with the sale and use of marijuana, do in fact violate both the spirit and the letter of the law. If DC cared to arrest and prosecute (which thankfully they don't) no judge in the world would accept the argument that paying $50 for a 50 cent comic book and getting $50 worth of weed in return is a "gift." Something isn't a gift just because you say it is. If that was the case, selling anything would be de facto legal - oh hey, you bought a $100 condom and you're getting free sex as a gift! Nothing illegal about getting free sex! |
There is a DUI law for marijuana, but no way to test for it right now. Kind of a loop hole. |
No you don’t. Just an ID saying you are of age. I did driver license |
I've mentioned this before but lots of storefronts in Colorado that were empty for years after the last recession became booming dispensaries and their economy really took off after legalization. |
Wow, we got a real smart one here! |
It's literally inevitable at this point. State and local governments are getting absolutely destroyed and major deficits are going to be huge problems for years. MJ is an easy way to boost tax revenues and stop putting peoples' lives at risk for what is ultimately a harmless product. |
| I have used the MJ delivery services in DC. I've only done it three times over the past few years (I prefer to get it from my friend, who is actually high risk for Covid 19, so I'm staying away from him for now) because they are generally too expensive for my tastes. I get IDd. They arrive on time. One of them actually exchanged strains for me because I got a strain that my body did not agree with. They were kind enough to swap it out for me in exchange for a nice review on a website. |
You can’t smoke in your car but dc cops don’t seem to enforce this. |
Since when do DC police enforce any sort of traffic infraction other than DUI? |
