I won “Mom of the Century” when I went back to a hotel room in Vegas as we were heading to the airport to retrieve ds’s stuffed animal. He was 14. He and the well-worn monkey are in college now.

My kids still use them.
I don't remember this in college or among friends when I was a teen. Maybe people still used them but hid them so as to be cool. |
12.5 yo. Yes. It’s in bed w her. But she doesn’t actively snuggle it like she used to. |
| My 12 yo DD has her three amigos or stuffed Lovey's that she has to have every night. |

My kids (12 and almost 10) never had favorite blankets, but they still sleep with their FP glowing seahorses that play classical music. We got them around the time that DD2 was born, so nearly a decade. And those things are still going strong, which I think is pretty amazing for a kids' toy with electronics.
The girls can do without them, but still bring them on most trips. They are going to their first sleepaway camp this summer and I wonder whether they will want them or not. I guess we'll see. |
| 14 year old boy still sleeps with his blankie and a variety of stuffed animals bring him comfort. He doesn't need them every night, but likes them (did not take them to sleep away camp). |
| 37 yesr old here and I still sleep with my baby blanket. I don’t travel with it and it doesn’t leave my room. |
+1 Part of her nightly graditude, she's always grateful her Tigger. |
We have the same loveys here!
|
| I'm 32 and married and sleep with my childhood stuffed animal every night- he's just so comfy! |
| I’m 31 and still sleep with mine. Married and gainfully employed. |
| My 13 year old still sleeps with her stuffed dog. At sleep away camp,, all the girls in her cabin also have loveys. |
| My DD12 stopped sleeping with her beloved stuffed animal at 10 because she was paranoid about extra wear and tear and something happening to it. It now sleeps on its own pillow next to dd’s bed. |
| My 9 and 11 year olds still sleep with their comfort items. Glad to hear this isn't uncommon. |
| Yes. And recently she needed some extra support so I gave her MY lovey too! |
