| Another one who was there until the very end of Game 5. Some people left early, but I was actually surprised that it stayed so crowded until the end. Certainly not half-empty. |

DC area fans aren't that loyal or that well behaved, in general. It may not be what you want to hear, but it is the truth. You can bring up other cities all you want, but they usually are not as badly behaved as the D.C. area fans. |

Can you blame them? Baseball is boring AF. Plus, the Nats are a new team. I mean, it's not like you can care that much when they've only been around 15 years or so.
If you think "baseball is boring AF" please don't go to a World Series game. Let people who enjoy the game purchase the tickets you would have. |
They behave well in that they act like quiet mice. |
| Sorry. They weren’t going to win and I had to be up for work in the morning. They played like crap for those three games. They deserved to have fans leave. |
+1 I agree with this statement. |
Repost to show which statement (re: 15 years). |
No. No, they do not. |
| I was there Sunday, and quite frankly I was surprised so many people stayed! I was up in 403 and 90% of us stayed the whole game. |
| I saw plenty of Astro’s fan leaving early on the from game 6, I mean if their team had rallied at the end they would have won the series but they didn’t care. And it’s an hour behind in Houston. It is what it is. |
Actually, a six-run comeback wasn’t out of the question. |
| You sound very rigid OP. Live and let live. Your title is misleading...the title made it seem as though people were throwing stuff or something. |
Sports fans in D.C. tend to get in the faces of of people (who are minding their own business) wearing the opposing teams' shirt. I have seen it enough times, though second hand. Not a good look, in general. |
You clearly havent spent time at many sporting events if you think DC fans are rough. |
| I don’t mind when they have better seats than us and leave. Front row really is better. |
