| Umbrella stroller and ONE of the other three, which are all lighter full size strollers, right? None of them is a jogger or double or anything? |
| Two. 1 for regular use, and 1 for traveling. |

People are just gifting you brand new fairly expensive strollers that you aren’t registered for?
We have 2 kids 2.5 years apart and have a City Mini GT with glider board, City Mini double, snap and go that we’ll get rid of soon, and a really old umbrella stroller that we never use. |

I guess I had 3 total but only 2 at a time. I had a snap and go for about 4 mos. Then DD went into a RF convertible seat.
I had a City Mini for dogwalking because it had the awesome sunshade and was easy to push. I also had a generic Graco for shopping because it had an awesome basket underneath. |

We have 1, a BOB. Used for everything from walking when DD was a newborn in her car seat, to running, to hiking.
Now, I did and still do carry most of the time for convenience, so that may be why we never needed more than 1. |
| I had the uppababy g lite for travel, the vista for strolling around town or the mall, single bob when I just had one kid, and double bob when I had the second I used the first three all the time, and still use the bob and my youngest is 5. Double bob never really got used because my oldest decided that strollers were for babies around that time. |
OP here. Yes. My wife made a registry with Nordstrom. Our family has access. She did not have a baby shower or registry with our first child. I think they're making up for it. She did not want gifts/ baby shower for our first child. We bought a lot of stuff second hand. |
This is us, almost exactly, except that baby is born (6 weeks old) and we settled on the gluxe to replace our very old secondhand glite. |
| We have three - the large workhorse (City Mini GT), a smaller footprint one we travel with or take to the zoo/festivals/etc. (Summer Infant 3D lite) and a tiny collapsible one I got on craigslist for $10 we do for things like the ballpark |

Just keep the Cruz. If you want to use it for a newborn, buy the bassinet to go with it.
Don't snap a carseat into a stroller frame. It increases the chances of both positional asphyxia and positional plagiocephaly for babies to be in a carseat, swing, bouncy seat, or other such "device" for too long of a period. Carseats are for the car, not for use as a stroller seat, infant seat, makeshift bassinet, etc. The Cruz should work well until your baby is out of the stroller stage. It is a great choice. If either of you are runners or plan to go "off-roading," you will also need a jogging/hiking stroller once your baby is a little older. If you want to ride your bike with baby, you'll need a bike trailer when the baby is over a year of age. Until then, the Cruz should be fine. |
op here. thanks. we don't have a snap in snap out car seat anyway. i agree with you. we only use car seats in the car. our first had to wear a helmet. it wasn't due to being in baby devices but i know that increases the chance. |
Excellent! Plagiocephaly can certainly happen even when babies aren't "container babies," but you're right that the chances are higher if they are. I hate seeing babies spending hours and hours in carseats-- from the car to the stroller while parents shop, to in a restaurant during dinner, back to the car, and so on. It is not developmentally appropriate, and the chances of positional asphyxia and positional plagiocephaly creep up significantly in such situations. I have an Uppababy Cruz with bassinet and LOVE it. I considered the Vista instead, but I don't need a second seat, nor will I ever need a second seat, so the additional cost of the Vista (still higher even after I added the bassinet to the Cruz) was foolish for my situation. |

I have two kids and have owned 3 strollers:
1 snap and go for infant stage 1 sturdy umbrella for most usage 1 double stroller Unless you using it daily for your commute in place of a car, I don't really think you need more than that. I've long since given away my snap and go, the double rarely comes out any more and even the umbrella stroller gets used only sometimes. My kids are 2 and 4. |
| We have an (almost) 3 year old and a 7 month old baby. We use the Yoyo as our on-the-go stroller for anything involving a car, with the carseat adaptors and the ride-along board for our toddler. We also have a Vista that we use as our around the neighborhood/rough terrain stroller. We have a City Mini GT double stroller that we have used literally under 10 times in 7 months. I find that my toddler is really not interested in being in a stroller, so I clipped a carabiner onto each stroller and he uses it at his "handle" to walk along-side. |
