My wife bought uppababy crus, bugaboo bee and a yoyo stroller. It seems like a lot. We have a 3 year old and a baby on the way. She says she fell in love with all of them and just wanted to purchase them all! We already have a Maclaren umbrella stroller that's in good condition. All items were gifts. I still feel like it's a waste to have this many strollers. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment.
You really only need 1 but who cares. It sounds like she's excited about strollers and they were gifts. You can resell them or use them for another kid.
Where will all of these strollers be kept?
I had an Uppbaby Vista and a MacLaren umbrella stroller. 3 kids.
For newborn, snap and go. For older child a jogger and umbrella stroller.
wait you said she bought them but they were all gifts. We have two strollers, one for the car/planes/travel and one for the street to go to the park.
OP here. They can be returned for store credit so we can buy other baby items instead. |
I keep one 'nice' stroller at home for outings and a cheapie umbrella in dh's trunk.
We had two. One big one that fit a car seat or converts to a bassinet. Used that one until kiddo was fit for an umbrella stroller then used the Zoe until 2.5 and then ditched the stroller. Also a baby on the way but oldest is 3.5 so I'll just add a riding board for her to the big stroller.
Two kids. I only ever had one.
We had uppababy vista, snap n go, running stroller, and uppababy gluxe (fancy umbrella stroller). I used all of them at various stages a lot. I also had a two car garage and wouldn’t have had all of them if I lived in a two bedroom condo.
Meh. I think strollers are ideally used for a short period of time. There are so many comfortable ways to carry a baby, and later once they can walk, you want the, to be more mobile. For two kids, three years apart, we only ever had 2 strollers. One convertible one that you could snAP the car seat into, and one very cheap umbrella stroller. Was so glad to get rid of them.

All you need is the Cruz. You might want an umbrella stroller if you plan to travel a lot by plane but you can also check (or even gate check, in the US) the Cruz, just buy the travel bag.
In no world do you need all four strollers you currently own... |

We have a 4 year old and a baby on the way. We also live in a 2 bedroom condo. I’d say 2 strollers max - a larger workhorse stroller with ample storage (especially if you use it for errands and/or in lieu of a car, like us) and a smaller, lightweight stroller for travel/transit. Sounds like you more than have your bases covered.
We have an Uppababy Cruz and an Uppababy G-Lite. Both have been useful and are ready for another kid despite heavy use with our first. We may sell the G-Lite and replace it with a newer model G-Series or the Minu. |
I’m not proud of it, but we have 6 strollers. We’ve used 4 of them in the last week (the baby just outgrew the snap n go so that one can go soon). They all serve different purposes
