Would your answer change if your familly was in the US only for 2 generations?

Is it? Seemed pretty high to me when I was in Haifa and Tel Aviv for work.

According to the UN Human Development Index, the US is 13. Israel is 22. Plus Israel is full of anti-Muslim psychos.

Wtf? He/she said no one has lived in Israel so why does the number of generations matter?

I know nobody there.
I don't speak Hebrew.
My learning disabilities are so severe that learning ANY other language is extra-difficult for me.
I don't like the food.
I don't like the pushy culture.
I wouldn't be able to get a job there (what with not speaking Hebrew and all).
I dislike hot weather vehemently.

"attachment" to the US could be lower if pp's family was of more recent stock regardless if they were originally from israel or not.

Unlikely for all the other reasons but maybe we would feel less tied to the US

That's pretty close in HDI - virtually a wash to be honest.

I’m not interested in living in an apartheid state.

I know several Israelis who've immigrated here and a couple of U.S. born Jews who tried immigrating to Israel and hated it. Israelis are notoriously aggressive/argumentative.

Why would that lead PP to go to Israel?

I was born here, my family is here. I’m an American.

Israel is a civilizational country, canada isn't.

You could open up the question to germans though, true.

So what you're saying is that Jews are a different type of people and it might be better if they clustered together away from everyone else?

OP thinks we’re all secret Israelis.

OP, go back to your MAGA rallies.

Me again - my family has been here since the Mayflower too! Bloodwise I am a half Jew. I’m considering joining DAR (I can) - I thought they might need some Jews

Many people find it a human pro, and not a human con, to be regularly surrounded by people different from you - different religions, different ethnicity, different skin colors, different cultures, etc.
