| It’s my son’s #1 pick when he applies next year. Very impressed by the faculty we met at an invited event last month. And I thought the buildings were pretty nice inside, but wasn’t my focus. |
| I toured over 20 colleges with my dd. Masons campus is actually quite nice compared to many. Have you seen Skidmore? Brandeis? Albany? |
| It's actually one of the most newly renovated because the school is so young |
| There are industrial plants and wires and towers all around the campus. What a bleh place to call home for 4 years. |
| Skidmore has an adorable town around it. George Mason is surrounded by power plants. |
| Worst campus in DC area. |
| Did you go to the correct school? It’s not industrial at all. Not sure what you’re referring to. Also, it’s no longer a commuter school. There are brand new beautiful dorms all over campus with more being built. Some of you are stuck with your 80’s perceptions. Join 2019. |
Say what? Are you sure you mean George Mason? It’s in Fairfax County, just outside the City of Fairfax. It’s a suburban setting bordering residential neighborhoods and nicely designed commercial areas. There’s not an industrial area in sight. |
UMD is not nice. American is not nice. Georgetown? No. |
What are you talking about, lol. |
|
Have you been to UMCP? World class ugly. Tony concrete walking paths. Too many roads. Dirt instead of grass. And the old colonial buildings are failing apart.
|
Haha ^tiny |
What power plants? |
| There is A LOT of construction going on right now. It does look pretty bad but it’s temporary. Not sure what you’re talking about though. There is nothing industrial nearby at all... |
| OP must be wasted. |
