| Why do you think that you need to consume that much fruit? |
| Why do you need so much fruit in a day? I eat grapes, couple of handfuls, few strawberries, whatever looks fresh when I go shopping. I don't eat nowhere that much fruit daily, or in 3 days. |
| That's a lot of liquid sugar and your skipping the fiber benefit. I eat 2 oranges a day at work and usually an apple/pear or pineapple (cut into chunks) after dinner. . Maybe berries on the weekend. |
| That's a lot of fruit! For avocado, I enjoy it so much that I'd rather have it in non-blended form. That's also a 600+calorie smoothie, I think? It sounds like you are a person who doesn't like to stop to eat, so these smoothies may be a really good way for you to get real foods, fiber, and calories. I like to eat, so I do better bringing a couple pieces of fruit to work (or a baggie of sliced fruit) and snacking on it. |

Snack on red grapesblueberries, navel orange segments and bananas
Work lunch usually consists of apple slices and pb or sharp cheddar |
| Oh, and forgot avocado toast!! |
| I see you're taking the "eat the rainbow" thing literally. No way I would prepare all that stuff every day just to get the colors right. Eat the berries over a fibrous cereal. Have the avocado on a salad, and have something else for a snack (orange, apple, whatever) |
| And forgot pineapple chunks in Greek yogurt |
| That’s so oddly specific. I usually have 1/2 a small avocado on wheat toast for breakfast and I nibble at the bowl of berries I put out for my kids. I usually have an apple and 2 kiwis or 2-3 clementines for snacks during the day. My kids usually have pineapple or melon with dinner this time of year, So I may have a bit then too. |
| If you are blending the avocado anyway, I suggest buying frozen avocado at BJs or Costco. I put a couple chunks in smoothies for my kids to make them more filling when I don’t have tofu or yogurt. It’s a creamy, neutral flavor easily covered by blueberries. |
| I don’t have that much fruit and I eat whatever is in season, so most of your fruit wouldn’t happen for me |
|
I usually have 2-3 servings throughout the day, whatever we buy that looks good.
Usually eat while working / as a snack. Sometimes cooked in things (berries in pancakes). Or thrown in things (banana in cereal or on pb sandwich; berries in yogurt). Currently, clementines are on heavy rotation with apples & berries. I like fruit I don’t have to cut / prep. |
| I eat strawberries for my mid-morning or afternoon snack only. I'm not a huge fruit fan but I can eat veggies all day, everyday. |
OP here. I am single and I hire a person who comes to the house every two days to help me with washing/cutting and preparing meals. I love fruit but it takes too long to eat. |
| Some berries on my plain yogurt. Fruit with dinner (varies) for my kid that won't eat veggies. Occasionally an extra apple as a snack. |
